Broadcasters have got to be careful. The court has determined that children are being treated with experimental drugs before they are old enough to consent to the harm these drugs will do to their bodies and that courts should have oversight to determine that children are protected. So to argue that children shouldn't have this protection is a pretty extreme view to take,

Far less respect was shown to Susie than pre this judgement!

refusetobeasheep · 02/12/2020 13:26

Susie trying to pretend it's purely because it's off label ... wish someone would clearly highlight the shocking lack of research for stopping puberty completely (unlike precocious puberty) and that virtually ALL go onto cross sex hormones ...

Chrysanthemum5 · 02/12/2020 13:26

Just caught the end of Susie Green - she is not giving up on her belief that puberty blockers prevent suicide and are not different in this context to when used for precoscious pubery

Tierful · 02/12/2020 13:25

Coming here for the commentary, cannot stand the fawning and ignorance

singwhenyourewinningyouonly · 02/12/2020 13:24

SG is unravelling. Even Jeremy Vine has not time for her.

MaudTheInvincible · 02/12/2020 13:24

@yourhairiswinterfire

Susie Green having the nerve to say ''that is not a good enough argument'' to someone. Hmm

I'm lucky not to have had much exposure to Jeremy Vine but it looks like he's realised that "oh, kittens are nice" isn't quite going to cut it over the Keira Bell decision.

Lowhum · 02/12/2020 13:22

Are they taking listeners calls on this?

JamieLeeCurtains · 02/12/2020 13:21

I can't be doing with The Special Voice either.

Destinysdaughter · 02/12/2020 13:20

Interestingly he's actually letting his guests talk.

And now we have Susie Green!

He can't dispute a court judgement tho...

Pretty sure he'll try.

he uses a special soft voice and is very fawning

As soon as we hear the “voice” the radio goes off.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 02/12/2020 12:59

I suspect I may end up shouting at the radio, though!

That goes without saying. I cannot listen to the man he just makes me so angry. Radio version of clickbait.

NancyDrawed · 02/12/2020 12:42

I will be interested to see how JV plays this. I suspect I may end up shouting at the radio, though!

There is something very odd in the way he talks to transwomen, he uses a special soft voice and is very fawning. I imagine if they have any callers on they will be transwomen rather than detransitioners
