Looks like they're gunning for gay men now. Anything other than complete agreement is no good.

Readers here will be used to this sort of insanity:

I wonder if it will wake up those who have not seen it before?

@jj1968

Nobody here is saying anything differently. I really worry that you can’t see that.

Well people seem to be objecting to young people being told about what LGB people actually do when they have sex.

If you think lesbians can’t have sex without a strap on, then clearly some sex education has gone badly awry somewhere.
nepeta · 28/11/2020 13:56

All rights that have ever been won have been won through debate. That’s the very foundation of a democratic society. Also, you can only say ‘no debate’ when you’re already in a powerful position so that you can tell others they can’t speak.

Trans people have rights. They are recognised as a protected characteristic and discrimination is unlawful. Stating that women need single sex spaces is not denying anyone’s right to exist. Males will not die if they can’t enter every space that is set aside for women.

If they were to debate, they would lose because their arguments are founded on complete nonsense. Hence the aggression involved.

Agreed. That is why debate itself is deemed transphobic.

What the heck is going on here

Dear God how do you all stomach reading that children should be taught about fisting and strap ons and anal sex for girls and fetishes. What happened to loving relationships and sex that's good and healthy for both participants?
Right?? We're all prudish dinosaurs who need to get with the times because we don't think our daughters should be taught that 'love' is letting her boyfriend ram his fucking arm up her fanny Hmm With no emphasis on boundaries and consent.
Datun · 28/11/2020 13:54

I think most LGB people think that their relationships are loving and that the way they have sex is good and healthy.

I'm not sure why you think you can talk for LGB people, when you can't even define the terms.

I believe JJ and MBD have both self identified as trans activists?

And JJ, at least, seems to be advocating that minor children get taught how to use a strap on. To a website frequented largely by parents, with unique viewing of 12 to 14,000,000 per month.

Crack on.

I know Sad
Quaagars · 28/11/2020 13:51

Sex is taught to children in high schools though? How to do it? That's nothing new.
So was just saying it's an interesting point should gay sex be taught too, it's not something you generally think about

RealityNotEssentialism · 28/11/2020 13:51

@nepeta

That transphobia definition should get maximum publicity. Such a long rant with only a few lines on actual hate speech and acts. Most of it explains why women's rights are transphobic and shouldn't exist.

In general, it seems that anything but the most abject obedience and silence is transphobia.

No wonder that trans activists allow no debate at all, because something like this would be torn apart in a real debate.

I think this will hurt the movement. When everything is transphobic, calling someone a transphobe loses all meaning and doesn't stop anyone.

'right to exist' and 'no problems in Ireland'...

Quaagars · 28/11/2020 13:46

These men should be nowhere near children.

What men? Gay men? Seeing as that's what the opposing view is talking about, teaching gay sex in schools as well and not just heterosexual?
People seem to be talking at cross purposes here

jj1968 · 28/11/2020 13:46

@Deliriumoftheendless

Why on earth would anyone imply oral sex is an LGBT thing unless it’s to subtly (or not so) imply posters here are prudes?
I'm not implying people are prudes, I'm implying that people seem to object to young people being taught the mechanics of how many LGB people have sex. Which feels a bit like homophobia to me. So I guess oral sex is fine, because the straights do it too.
littlbrowndog · 28/11/2020 13:46

Me too

Datun · 28/11/2020 13:45

CoffeeTeaChocolate

I am heterosexual, but reading this thread makes me wish that all adult males disappeared into some bunker and knocked themselves out with their anal sex, pornography, sex toys and strap ons. This actually makes me so upset.

I hear you, coffee. Fortunately for our children, and unfortunately for those men, sex education is now under the spotlight. Groups like LGB alliance, safe schools alliance and transgender trend are scrutinising everything. And everyone.

Datun · 28/11/2020 13:43

@Duckwit

I didn't learn about sex toys at school? Why the fuck do you need to learn about that at school?!
Yeah, I don't want my 13 year old to be taught how to use a strap on. Thanks very much.

The irony of celebrating the hounding of an LGB organisation, at the same time as complaining that mums don't want their underage children to be taught how to use a strap on, is spectacular.

It's cringe.

SophocIestheFox · 28/11/2020 13:42

It’s interesting that while we’ve got the dream team, the dynamic duo here on this thread, neither of them are taking up the others points, expanding, debating, querying or amplifying where they’re in agreement with each other. That seems to be eschewed in favour of telling women they’re wrong.

Don’t you agree with and support each other? seems a bit mean, after all you want the same things, I think.

You’d almost think it was less satisfying to find supportive, like minded people to bond with, than it is to tut at women.

littlbrowndog · 28/11/2020 13:42

No they shouldn’t.

We are talking about children in school. Ffs

What is going on here

nepeta · 28/11/2020 13:40

Someone mentioned Teen Vogue earlier in this thread.

The Teen Vogue article on the pleasures of anal sex for young teens called men prostate-havers which was nice to see in its inclusiveness. But then women were called non-prostate-havers...

The helpful picture in the article about the pelvic area of non-prostate havers was wonderful: It contained no clitoris.

That solved the problem of trying to explain why non-prostate-havers might find anal sex less pleasurable. No clitoris, no problem, as all sex would then be at most lukewarmly pleasurable.

yourhairiswinterfire · 28/11/2020 13:39

I want to teach my children (male and female) about sex as a part of a loving and respectful relationship where boundaries are respected. I don’t care about what nature of relationship that is.

Exactly, and evidently this way of teaching is needed now more than ever, what with some of the really worrying attitudes on the rise.

testing987654321 · 28/11/2020 13:37

Really incredibly upsetting. These men should be nowhere near children.
