Not sure if there's already been a thread about this (apologies if so) but how awful the male is to follow and threaten a woman for speaking on the phone to her mum!

@june2007

Intimidating definitely but it seems she was being antagonistic, complaining about people in ear shot when it is clear it is them she is complaining about. (when she presumably doesn,t know them.) Ofcourse it doesn't justify his behaviour but it shows that one has to be careful about what we say.
So what?

I hear plenty of people moaning about distancing/masks/touching stuff in shops.

I don't follow them down the street and call them a posh slug and a cunt.

If I did I'd have an anger problem that is entirely my own.

AnneElliott · 08/11/2020 22:39

Yes you're right Letsgoround - those are his words. He also agrees that he's intimidating.

I hate the way she has to apologise to him as it's clear she's so scared he's going to hurt her.

She points out that he's following her, and intimidating her.

She says "you called me a posh slag and a cunt" and he says "yeah, that's exactly what you're behaving like."

letsgoroundagainbaby · 08/11/2020 22:37

I think he's saying "let me chat you back" to whoever he was on the phone with...possibly the "people" he was threatening her with?

letsgoroundagainbaby · 08/11/2020 22:36

He says "I ain't threatening you but I've got people here and if you want to mouth off like some kind of rude girl..."

PlanDeRaccordement · 08/11/2020 22:34

Trying hard and listened again and again and he says something like “I ain’t threatening you, yeah, but I know people right and if you want to mouth off, like some rude girl...” and she interrupts and says “I was talking to my mum on the phone.” And he says “yeah ok, let me chat you back” and she’s says “no, it’s not ok and now you’re following me”

JellyFishSquish · 08/11/2020 22:32

Because male violence is justified because women complaining about men who are shits make men look bad.

JellyFishSquish · 08/11/2020 22:30

Not so much "male violence" but male presumption of everyone accepting him as a nice person, a person that nobody would have any reason to complain of. And if anyone a woman did complain, or was misunderstood as complaining, then his aggression is justified because she clearly must be a cunt.

PlanDeRaccordement · 08/11/2020 22:23

You did, can you tell me time stamp? Is it second video? Because I honestly didn’t hear that.

AnneElliott · 08/11/2020 22:19

I heard him threatened to beat her up Plan. He says something like ' I can get people here to sort you out'.

Yes good news that he's been identified. Bet it's not the first time he's done this either.

OP posts:
PlanDeRaccordement · 08/11/2020 22:17

I did. And on the audio, he didn’t threaten anything. He’s asking why she said ‘it”; she says it was to her mum not him, he says it seemed directed at him and asks for an apology.
She accuses him of threatening to beat her up on the audio, but there’s no evidence...he doesn’t make any threats I can hear. He also responds and denied he threatened her says he doesn’t threaten people. He stays at least 5m away from her at all times.
Sorry, but there’s no violence and no threatening that I see. It’s a confrontation and a disagreement.

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 08/11/2020 22:12

What a wanker! He only did this because she's a woman. Wouldn't have dared if he'd thought she could deck him.

Glad to read that he's been identified and the incident has been reported. Hope to hear he's being prosecuted.

AnneElliott · 08/11/2020 21:59

Plan I think you need to view her second and third tweet to get the full story.

My understanding is she was on the phone to her mother and the bloke takes issue with her conversation (ie she didn't address him herself) and then follows and threatens her.

No way would he have done that to a bloke.

Sorry, watched the videos and there’s no violence at all? Or any threats?
