I thought I was completely jaded when it comes to politics but I confess I shed a small tear when she spoke tonight, wearing suffragist white, and addressed “all the little girls in America” or something like that and my eldest said, eyes shining, “She’s talking to ME!”

Don’t worry, I will return to regularly scheduled cynicism in the morning.

I really hope so. I hope we're about to witness a really stable and pragmatic period of governing by the D's, which brings a broad church on board and which moves them inexorably towards a Kamala Harris campaign in 2024.

Agree Reality I support Trans rights and Women's rights. I don't support the erosion of women's rights.
Absolutely, I’m just praying she will have a chat with Joe and clarify a sensible position on women’s rights and the protection of single sex provisions in America.

Love the YMCA clip! My nine year old DD is very happy! It is inspirational. Ok. She's not 100% golden, but still. An actual WOMAN. In the white house!

This is really, really historic. We've watched countries around the world elect women leaders and yet the US just couldn't seem to do it. What a day!!!
