This beauty pageant, or any beauty pageant for that matter, is there some sort of audition or something to get into it or can anyone enter them? Beauty level irrelevant.
Most beauty pageants start with local, small pageants and often have an chain up for winners to be eligible to enter the wider pageants, where the prizes are bigger and better.

At the lower levels pretty much anyone can pay their fee and enter.

I thought that there was a philosophical of ‘take people at their word’ (apart from those who need to be referred to as people/menstruators/birth etc).

Is there any support for JY from other quarters? I don’t keep up with Canadian politics and things, but am aware there is a vocal trans activist lobby there, is JY part of that, do other trans activists agree with him and support all of these legal cases?

Yaniv requests that the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario rule that an organization cannot refuse a service to someone just because that person has male genitalia

I'm still most worried about this if I've read it right. Yaniv doesn't want the tribunal to rule that the pageant can't refuse him, Yaniv wants them to rule that any organisation can't refuse entry to a person with male genitals. Would Yaniv use success in this to access other spaces previously denied to him?

Wasn’t JY charged with assault for when they chased that reporter and beat him with a cane? The footage is on YouTube (it’s bizarre, JY yelling “leave me alone” whilst chasing after and physically assaulting the reporter). It seemed a clear cut conviction, what happened with that?

Also got out a taser on Blaire White'a YouTube podcast, and was going to be done for possession of a weapon I think which can mean up to 5 years jail?

12:05 PM PST: Yaniv received a conditional discharge. Yaniv received one year probation and must report to a parole officer. The psych eval completed by Doctor Pritchard found mental health issues, gender dysphoria, etc.
