Langcleg is vindicated

Mumsnet thought that Langcleg was wrong to state safeguarding regarding children who thought they were trans. When langcleg argued for our kids Mumsnet didn’t like it. Mumsnet caved to the men. Instead of champion safeguarding, Mumsnet got rid of an expertise on this. Well, Langcleg was right and the Tavistock judicial review shows this.
Langcleg kept me sane in a world where others tried to gaslight me for my refusal to believe that my child was born in the wrong body.
Shame on you Mumsnet for cancelling the very people who help us parents. The voice of sanity. More importantly the voice of support. Do you really think langcleg did this for her own gain? No. She did this to protect us all. Gonna report this post now to bring it to the attention of the monitors.
Langcleg if you are still reading these posts I thank you so much for you help. I wish you were here now to comment on the Tavistock review and feel vindicated.

I’m sure in that case Quaagars that you will have some examples of this bullying to prove your point? Have you?

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 09/10/2020 08:41

but certain posters have even managed to put me off crisp butties in the past, so...

Noooooo

Really? Oh i am so sorry

Quaagars · 09/10/2020 08:36

I never saw even a hint of it
Lucky you then, never being on the receiving end.
"Robust disagreement?" Nice minimising job there.

HumphreyCobblers · 09/10/2020 08:32

I wish she could be invited back. Would be great.

Whatisthisfuckery · 09/10/2020 08:29

I think we need to see some evidence of this bullying Lang was supposed to have been doing, because I never saw even a hint of it. Robust disagreement, yes, but robust disagreement is not bullying, and seeing as she has been vindicated about both her concerns about safeguarding and the fact that certain individuals are crawling MN for posters and key words to target, safeguarding being one of them, I think we definitely need receipts to show this alleged bullying.

The Weetabix and banana was indeed a horror though, but certain posters have even managed to put me off crisp butties in the past, so...

Skyliner001 · 09/10/2020 08:29

@Vermeil

Simples

Nothing gives a comment weight and gravitas like quoting a puppet meerkat from an annoying insurance advert.

This 😂
Skyliner001 · 09/10/2020 08:29

@Namechangex5

She did not bully anyone. If you think that, it is possibly because your argument wasn’t strong enough and she showed you up.
😂😂
EwwSprouts · 09/10/2020 08:27

Lang was an informed, insightful and vocal woman. Who could possibly have a problem with that? Hmm

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 09/10/2020 08:11

Yes i miss lang as well

Like some others who have been banned or suspended she was a font of information

Quaagars · 09/10/2020 08:08

Who said I wasn't here at the time?

Pertella · 09/10/2020 07:58

@DixieFlatline

Take no notice of people who get some strange satisfaction from arguing black is white.
Strange how there seems to be a conveyer belt of posters with similar poster style who only turn up to goad, prod, deflect and merail.

Wonder when we'll get to the bit where they moan about this board but yet can't keep away 🥱

IheartJKR · 09/10/2020 07:57

Women continue to be silenced.

Anyfucker was allowed back...

Langclegs posts helped me with my research. I wish I knew her in real life.✊

eleventylevennamechanges · 09/10/2020 07:57

Pertella has bravely explained it better than me.

Pertella · 09/10/2020 07:54

@Harmarsuperstar

I was here at the time, under a different name or lurking, I can't remember which. From memory, I think LC was banned due to a misunderstanding by one of the moderators?
Yep. LC pointed out that their were people external to these boards targeting and reporting certain pp to get posts deleted and them banned.

LC pointed out the irony in MN running a campaign to make women aware of coercive control and how to recognise it whilst allowing external monitors to control what is posted.

A particular moderator misunderstood what LC said and banned her for accusing the MODS of coercive control. Even though their misunderstanding was pointed out they refused to accept what she was saying.

As it turn out she was right. And yet...

eleventylevennamechanges · 09/10/2020 07:47

There is a very clear account of what happened on the feminism section of another site.
There is misunderstanding and deliberate misunderstanding.
Lang was targeted because she was raising a very important red flag.

@NotBadConsidering

Quaagars

You’ve only been posting for a few months, how would you know that Lang “bullied” you if you didn’t agree as you claim? Any links?

They arnt supposed to be quoting a banned poster either.....especially as they apparently weren't even here at the time 😂

ManOfPies · 09/10/2020 05:08

It would give the wrong message IMO to reinstate a previously banned poster, especially when their cronies are still pushing their luck and demanding apologies etc.

ManOfPies · 09/10/2020 05:06

If you use the facilities provided by a website then you abide by their rules. Simples. It’s pretty much the modus operandi. Some posters come across like children sulkily rebelling against their parents and tbh they need to realise they’re only here because mumsnet allows them to be.

Quaagars · 09/10/2020 01:29
Confused
Namechangex5 · 09/10/2020 01:22

Quaagers. Why did you respond with that comment. You just showed yourself up. Vindicated.

OP posts:
Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/10/2020 01:11

Wasn't aware of that poster. If they highlighted the vulnerability of children being endangered or exploited by activists or their cheerleaders, for whatever motives, then good for them.

She did.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/10/2020 01:10

Is that you, Oflang?

Interesting, isn't it?
