I just want to put a BIG thank you to Keira and the others for the last couple of days for protecting our children in the face of massive obstacles. All power to your sails.

Sorry, can anyone tell me where to go to read about what happened today? Tried looking on the news and Twitter and couldn’t find it...

Thank you Keira and Mother A, to everyone who is supporting you, to all those letting us know what is happening in court.

Thanks

Thank you Keira and Mrs A and everyone supporting them. I'm a mother of a gender nonconforming child and I am so heartburstingly grateful for the light you're shining on the lunatic logic that has taken over children's medicine.

PearPickingPorky · 08/10/2020 21:55

@BrassicaRabbit

I'm chilled to the bone by the Tavi response. I have colleagues who have been on training there. They are not happy.
Are these medical or other clinical colleagues?

The people who were trained by Carmichael's team of child destructors must be totally spinning having heard that today.

Thank you Keira and Mrs A Flowers

You are helping to return us all to a place and time where children will be safeguarded by society - not handed over to the demands of the latest lobby group in town.

Women, mothers, parents, men all owe you a tremendous debt.

crunchermuncher · 08/10/2020 21:40

Thank you so much! You're amazing! You shouldn't have had to do this but I'm so glad that you had the courage.

Thank you again Wine

ArabellaScott · 08/10/2020 21:30

I'm in awe of your bravery, and more grateful than you could know for all the strength, time, honesty and courage I know this must have taken. Wishing you the very best, and hope the process may have helped you in some way to heal.

Thank you from all of us, and countless more.

Thank you for being so brave and being such a trail blazer. Thank you from all the daughters now and in the future, hopefully this will save them before it is too late.
You speak so calmly and measured well done. Thank you x

After lurking for years, I have joined Mumsnet just so I can say to Keira, Mrs A and Sue Evans that I am in awe of you and what you have achieved.

To echo previous posters, I am so grateful and words can't really do justice to it. Michelle is right. This whole sorry saga has demonstrated what real sisterhood is like, and I was so moved when I saw those pictures of you all going into court and in the pub. It's not always pretty, and it's not always fun, but I'm so damn glad to be a woman.

Also Keira, thank you for facing down Philip Schofield and his obvious ignorance of this issue, wanting to just pile blame on you for your experiences. He clearly had an agenda which was to demonize you in some way. Does he not understand his audience? A large number of women and parents??!! I have children aged 20, 17 and 14 and I am very aware of what is happening to them physically and mentally as they go through adolescence and young adulthood. To try and pass all the blame to Keira for a culture and medical community that has been cheerleading Gender Ideology and hormones for the under 18s through tv, social media and schools for the past decade is disgusting.

We are all behind you, my teenagers are very interested in your case and are fully supportive as myself and my husband are. You represent the majority view on this issue who are being silenced. Thank you for being determined to TELL THE TRUTH.

Kantastic · 08/10/2020 21:17

Keira and Mrs A, I was wondering earlier if you might have spearheaded the popping of the whole damn bubble.

The Tavistock seem to be doing cargo cult medicine - yeah they've got the qualifications and the funding and the trappings and the ability to write prescriptions, but they're failing to fulfil even the basic functions and goals of actual medicine. And that's been exposed in court today for everyone to see. And if that's happening in the Tavistock it's happening in all the other places that are also following "WPATH guidelines." Thank fuck it's finally been exposed to the world. You've done something amazing. Flowers
