She says she has done enough for three autobiographies but gives zero indication of even the general field in which she works.

I was taught to give a couple of interesting relevant examples of my experience as credibility credentials early in a lecture/article/training session.

Vague statements about having done loads of non-specific stuff in your life isn't a big credibility builder.

But presumably she changed her name just recently when she suddenly became aware that she wasn't a woman jumped on a passing bandwagon - so wouldn't be on Google under her new name.

She didn't say anyone would buy them just that she could write them.

I could write 5, one per decade. I've bet my life has been a fuck of a lot more exciting than hers yet still my autobiographies would only be read by masochistic insomniacs.

Perhaps. But I can't find anything at all about her on Google. Surely anybody who has done enough to write three autobiographies - even just in her own mind - before the age of 27 should have a few google entries?

And I do get the bit about suddenly being pigeonholed by HCPs as "Mum" as if you cease to be an individual with a name and personality - but as I got older I realised that it's probably mainly because the poor buggers are dealing with multiple "Mums" and they have better things to do in the best interests of "baby" than remembering everyone's name..... which is why many of my shop customers are "Sweetie" and "darling" because if they have all told me their name my brain often draws a complete blank (and I'm theatrical and so is my shop so it's kind of part of the brand now...... should anyone complain, I will of course apologise, but it hasn't happened in 4 years and I haven't been cancelled yet. Maybe the clock is ticking yet.....)

I do feel a bit sorry that Boby has such a dim view of women and motherhood. I think joining some baby groups would really help with the understanding that nobody finds it easy, and women really don’t tend to buy wholesale into the stereotype of mum. A lot of this does smack of some pretty severe social isolation.

But people - including feminists, gay people and just plain old eccentric people - have been rejecting stereotypes for centuries. Why do you have to deny being a mother to reject a stereotype? I'm not one to bleat about being offended but that's actually bloody rude. I'm a female, woman and mother and I reject and break loads of feminine gender stereotypes, as do lots of women I know. It's suggesting that by declaring she's not a mother, she has some special ability to reject a stereotype that boring old "mothers" don't have.

The fact that most of those types of groups are predominantly female and men can feel uncomfortable is something that is changing I think. But they were never just for women at least in recent years.

I really think this is all about rejecting stereotypes/ a certain dominant way of doing things isn't it? With a good dose of, that's not for me I'm better than that.

It’s like that person with the cringe performance poetry about non-binary haircuts and not being able to go for haircut because hairdressers are all so exclusively masculine or feminine. Totally failing to accept that they are in fact not and you can easily find a unisex hairdresser who won’t give a crap what you identify as and will just give you the haircut you fancy. Amazing eh.

One of the many things that fucks me off about trans ideology but especially the NB wibble, is they way they push a totally untrue, twisted version of everyone else’s reality, where we’re all stuck in stereotyped gender divisions unless we’re of the extra special trans persuasion.
