Stonewall drop Mermaids?

Seems Stonewall used to direct young people to Mermaids. But the link has been removed from the page?:

www.stonewall.org.uk/help-advice/coming-out/coming-out-young-person

And the page that used to be on there appears to be blank:

www.stonewall.org.uk/organisations/mermaids

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, y'all.

I keep singing Two Wheels on My Wagon

Still numerous mentions when you search though. These might be worth archiving:

There is still a link here

@MannymanMunroe

Kids Company all over again, I reckon.
Jesus your right!

Yep I think a lot of ‘no that never happened’ and deletion of pages ect.. are going to happen!

🥳🥳🥳

This archiving website is easy to use but might not be available in the long term:

archive.fo/

This is a much better long term bet but attempts to archive a webpage often fails:

web.archive.org/

Usage is straightforward. Copy the address of the "target" webpage you want to save, open the archiving website, paste the address, and if an archived webpage is generated you'll be given a specific address that will link to the archived webpage, and can be used in the future even if the "target" webpage has been deleted.

That is really significant. They must know something we don’t (I mean they presumably already knew what we know which you would have hoped would be bad enough).

Did they not put in the complaint about the BBC dropping Mermaids or am I confused?

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 12/08/2020 15:53

Thanks, Melroses. It really sounds very straightforward. I can do this! What needs archived?

BBC? Already been cleaned, hasn't it.

Government departments?

NHS?

Are the wheels finally coming off the wagon? It's about time.

Redshoeblueshoe · 12/08/2020 15:49

WTF
🍾

Melroses · 12/08/2020 15:49

Archive.is

Then copy& paste the web address from the search bar.

DuDuDuLangaLangaBingBong · 12/08/2020 15:48

Holy moly. Somethings a brewing!

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 12/08/2020 15:46

I would suggest that people who know how to do it start archiving pages supporting this organisation.

They will be needed.

and I can't remember how to do it no matter how many times I am told
