Jameela and Josie backing away

I’ve checked as much as I can and apparently Jameela Jamil and Josie Long (I’m not sure who she is but lots of followers) have deleted their tweets supporting Mermaids. Jameela also seems to have removed her unpleasant tweet(s) to JK Roeling (I don’t think I’ve missed them on the searches) An interesting development.

Jameela is grim. It feels as if she is still one of the mean girls at her very posh London private school (Queens college).

But interesting. The BBC have backed away a little from Mermaids. Now these two. People who survive on their wits (in the absence of talent) can be savvy. Perhaps they have decided that Susie Green and Helen mimmymum are no longer cool. (Half right...they were never cool, but it suited some people to pretend they were.)

Some of Jameela’s tweets were really quite vicious but fairly fact free.

Jameela tweeted this back in June. I screenshot it because it felt so nasty and I text it to my partner to discuss with him.

I'll be interested if she does a full 180, but I also probably won't see it because I unfollowed after this.

Actually, I'm waiting for Emma Watson to back pedal because she has been so vocal about supporting them. I'll celebrate when that happens.
