I can't find the original link, can anyone?

Deathraystare · 31/07/2020 07:32

Someone needs a biology lesson

But he is a man so he must know, right?!

When my mum bled out her anus it definitely was not a period. It was bowel cancer but I am sure as he is a man he knows best right?

@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g

CNN is getting absolutely hammered on Twitter for saying 'Individuals with a cervix '. As far as I can see it's mostly Americans objecting, which is heartening. Sometimes I feel the UK is the only place with substantial kickback to this erasure of women.
You are the awe-inspiring foremothers of the new women's liberation movement. There will be books written about the Wise Women of Mumsnet and children will learn about you at school!

Or it could well be the case that the future is something much more dystopian but at least you gave it a good go.

Sorry... what now?

I am sure they would love to hear from all cervix havers. One British survey found that almost one half of the women they interviewed did not know that they had a cervix. This is such a prime case of inane wokeness taking precedence over actually providing information

Totickleamockingbird · 30/07/2020 19:40

Bleeding from your anus or penis is a serious heath problem actually. One that a GP should look at. Immediately.
But that is biology 101 and this lot does not understand anything that remotely resembles a sound argument. Hmm

RiotAndAlarum · 30/07/2020 15:41

@BaronessWrongCrowd

If a person with a penis suddenly started bleeding from an orifice that won't have blood coming out of it each month because of this old fashioned concept called biology, then I would be point said person towards seeing a Doctor pretty sharpish.
Given the merry abandon with which randomers piss disinformation everywhere, it's hard not to suspect some bastards are telling these lies on purpose, in order to tie up us Support Humans in pointing people to the correct information, urging them to seek medical help, blah, blah, blah.

If that's your friend or loved one and they're having monthly bleeds from their anus, you should be encouraging and supporting them to get medical attention! (This, definitely. Apart from knowing and caring for these people, we will be sure they're telling the truth, compared to the abovementioned lying randomers!)

GilderoyLockdown · 30/07/2020 14:39

Not sure if this particular individual is real or not, but it's certainly been said in seriousness before. I don't understand how allowing biologically male transwomen to think they're menstruating is being spun as some kind of supportive gesture. If that's your friend or loved one and they're having monthly bleeds from their anus, you should be encouraging and supporting them to get medical attention!

MedusasButterDish · 30/07/2020 09:13

Yet again women have to come to the rescue with facts, after some absolute dick has tried to spread dangerous disinformation through th'internet. 🙄

WinnieLowCo · 30/07/2020 08:30

Madness.

It is a psychiatric issue to convince yourself that blood coming out of your male anus is a period. Confused

Babdoc · 30/07/2020 08:26

I suspect they need a mental health referral. Such a level of delusion, combined with the other wild stuff they’ve posted, suggests a serious psychiatric problem.

DancelikeEmmaGoldman · 30/07/2020 03:56

Funny how the claim to be a woman is accompanied by total ignorance about how female bodies actually work.

For the lurkers: a period is not bleeding. Bleeding is what happens when you cut yourself shaving.

A period is a female body shedding the nutrient-rich lining of the uterus, which has been prepared in anticipation of implantation by a fertilised egg (ie large gamete + small gamete). If egg implantation doesn’t occur, this lining is shed, ready to try again next month.

Period “blood” is a mixture of blood (but with fewer blood cells than normal blood), mucus, tissue and vaginal secretions.
sites.utexas.edu/thechattygal/the-chemistry-of-period-blood/

Only human females have periods, because only human females have the necessary biological organs and functions for periods to occur. Taking female hormones cannot trigger periods because periods can’t happen unless you posses a female reproductive system.

Anyone experiencing unexplained bleeding from any orifice should seek medical attention as a matter of urgency.

SetYourselfOnFire · 30/07/2020 03:29

I think transwomen's period fetishization has officially gone mainstream, after this. I can't wait until shoving tampons up your bum goes mainstream. So fun, much womanhood.

Dogman · 29/07/2020 22:31

So when my 9 year old son got a nosebleed last night was that his period? Every day really is a school day.

Heygirlheyboy · 29/07/2020 20:50

Has to be satire. See responses to his tweet re Jessica Yaniv.. I hope anyway!

nauticant · 29/07/2020 20:41

I had a look at that person's account. It is full of insane stuff:

twitter.com/jmarksinclair/status/1220573080990281730

twitter.com/jmarksinclair/status/1251797001152401408

I'd say either troll or there being something very off.

Hiddenmnetter · 29/07/2020 20:32

Uhm...if you're bleeding out your anus go the fuck to a doctor cause you may well have cancer.

If you're bleeding due to a dip in progesterone after a peak, it's a period. It hurts my head that people might actually think this tweet is true...

KingOfDogShite · 29/07/2020 20:24

That person is fucking nuts 😂

wellbehavedwomen · 29/07/2020 20:20

If you look at that person's Twitter account, that tweet is probably one of the least disturbing things about it.

Really shocked that Twitter will ban people for misgendering, and then allow people to openly support Nazis, and call Jewish people a societal cancer. WTF, Twitter.

@SomeDyke that news story is amazing. If they can help women with DSDs like that, it's wonderful.

ShiveringCoyote · 29/07/2020 18:53

It's just the usual ignorance about womens bodies.

Winesalot · 29/07/2020 18:10

Well. Is it much different to one very prominent activist saying not all vaginas are pink? Or am I completely wrong and vaginas and other internal organs come in different colours?

SomeDyke · 29/07/2020 17:53

Just to add, for those females born without a vagina, but with a uterus, they used to use part of the colon to build it. But latest methods use tissue grown from cells harvested from parts they do have to construct a working vagina.
www.newscientist.com/article/dn25399-engineered-vaginas-grown-in-women-for-the-first-time/#:~:text=After%20cells%20had%20established%20themselves,structure%20maintained%20the%20right%20shape.

Which the chaps can't have because they don't have a vulva to begin with..........Pesky biology again!

Also highlights the issues with neo-vaginas built using bits repurposed from other places in the body. These cut-and-paste jobs aren't a replacement for actual cells and actual DNA working inside an actual female body.

I think the anus/penis/skin confusion from someone who is frankly terminally confused, is a reference to the sites they harvest in males for these surgical fantasy creations.
