I really dislike games like this. It leads to such a build-up in expectation that the actual event ends up as a bit "meh".

I know!! We are all being distracted from the fact that we are becoming more and more plastic as aliens are taking over our world gradually. The final step is to declare that aliens are taking over the earth as there is no humans left. They have been turning us into plastic mannequins using our own recycling but our brains are figuring out something is wrong.

Could it be that the red reflects a certain powerhouse of a country that would benefit greatly if we all were so focused on fighting the erosion of defining the sex categories, something that they whipped up on social media, that we didn’t realize until well down the track that the very definition of free speech was also at risk. That people talking about proven science would be declared bigots and people told not to believe.

Well... maybe part of this is true... maybe all of it. Why should we discount the red being a country that sends agents to the UK to poison people in this modern era? Causing mistrust and shutting down free speech is something they are experts at.....

Shall I come up with another? One that doesn’t involve a small group of men, some with abusive proclivities and some less abusive but still not accepted, that determined to make their proclivities more acceptable by playing the long game over decades including playing on ‘being kind’ and infiltrating organisations to change the culture to suit their needs.

I hope it has everything to do with the misinterpretation of the EA2010 and their undue influence on government departments and organisations.

Could this also be something that Liz Truss is waiting to fall out before an announcement?

I could come with conspiracy theories that 10 years ago would have sounded nuts but not so crazy now.

This is what I'm hoping. But could just be insane wishful thinking. I've been so wrong so many times...
