Just searched twitter as I also had no idea. Apparently WeAreFairCop are tweeting about Stonewall.

Although the Who to Follow on that account are TransgenderTrend, LGB Alliance and Safe Schools Alliance. The first two are well known as being anti-trans so I'm out.

My hope is that with a new Chair and a new Chief Executive, a certain influential organisation will change its approach. So rather than #nodebate and promoting the rights of those it represents over the rights of others, it will see itself representing those rights within a wider societal debate. Allowing a focus on the needs of the vulnerable whatever their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Also just seen the tweet from the MP about belief and reality, its literally the most ironic thing I have EVER SEEN.

This is a digression - I found this in the responses to that Tweet. It's written by an attention seeking TRA so I don't want to give it a thread of its own but I thought it might potentially be a very useful resource. It's an attempt to catalogue all the most heartrending consequences to trans people of the lack of GRA reform. archive.is/wip/6vmij

Despite the verdict of some randomer on Twitter that it's "horrific" and despite all the attempts of the author to hype it up, it's interesting to weigh it in the balance against all the horrible consequences to women that have resulted from allowing male people into female spaces.

I really dislike games like this. It leads to such a build-up in expectation that the actual event ends up as a bit "meh".
It's either shopping, or this. I prefer this, even if it does end up being a bit "meh"
