Sounds positive, Jeez.

@boatyardblues

Jael’s story just reaffirms my prejudice that self-catering or a hotel wins over camping every day of the year and in all circumstances.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

@RoyalCorgi

I wonder if the government is suddenly realising what a waste of time and money it is for the CPS and every council in the country to start withdrawing all their materials which have been based on Stonewall advice and therefore a misrepresentation of the law.

I think (hope) you are nearest the mark. When the govt carried out its consultation on reform of the GRC, it had thousands and thousands of responses that were identical, copied and pasted from the Stonewall website. That goes well outside Stonewall's remit as a charity.

Secondly, we all know - and the government will have been made aware - that Stonewall has been going into public sector organisations such as the police, NHS trusts, schools etc and lying about the law, as well as providing some extremely dodgy advice.

So what I'm hoping is that in the process of making a decision about whether or not to reform the GRA, the government has decided it really needs to clamp down on Stonewall's activities and is about to take measures to do so, maybe either relating to its charitable status or its funding. I don't know. These are just guesses.

I hope you are right Corgi!

SpeedofaSloth · 24/07/2020 12:52

Well, I wouldn't mess with Jael, having just googled her.

highame · 24/07/2020 12:50

@FlamingoAndJohn

I’m just going to hang about here until someone makes sense.
I wouldn't hold yer breath, though there have been some wonderful attempts. However, the anarchists seem to be winning at the moment
MrsJamin · 24/07/2020 12:48

My guess is that FC have been asked to comment on something a Sunday newspaper will be revealing...
Father Christmas?!

SerenityNowwwww · 24/07/2020 12:45

Ah it was a simpler time, with simpler pleasures.

No - they were bright orange. With a strange grin.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 24/07/2020 12:44

Spacehoppers. Spacehoppers are sort of reddish-orange.

The SNP is funded by the Radio Times?

I bloody KNEW it!

scotsheather · 24/07/2020 12:40

I'm sure there was some anti lobbying act recently, about government funded lobbying of government. Thats all charities eg. disability/age/religion/third world poverty.

highame · 24/07/2020 12:39

🤣

DannyGlickWindowTapping · 24/07/2020 12:35

@cdtaylornats

I thought it was about RT going to be shutdown and the SNP being upset by their funds being cut off.
The SNP is funded by the Radio Times? 😮. I did not know this..... 😉
BiologyNotBigotry · 24/07/2020 12:35

Interestingly, the Volvo L150 is "packed with revolutionary solutions" according to one website I found. Revolutionary solutions sound pretty good to me!

KaronAVyrus · 24/07/2020 12:33

I think with the Soon Day thing that whatever it it will be printed in the Sunday times this week 🧐

FloralBunting · 24/07/2020 12:33

There's no code. There is only speculation. It's been said a number of times on the thread. Fair Cop are likely to be mentioning something that is already incoming, but not quite ready to unwrap. No one is compelled to read the thread.
