Fecking gender on school forms

Dd2 starts high school in September. The usual forms are now online. For her sister I was able to cross out gender and write sex as it was a paper form. The online system wants to know "gender assigned at birth" and as it is a required field then I can't fill in the rest of the form until this is filled in. I have emailed school to explain that she did not have her gender assigned at birth but had her sex observed. She does not have a gender identify but has a biological sex. They are a pretty woke school with mixed sex toilets and pride flags flying from every building. It is an excellent school otherwise I would have sent her to the Catholic one that doesn't engage in this nonsense. This pisses me off so much.

Have the school replied? Newrubylane below makes a good point. Must dig out my birth certificate but I'm pretty sure I wasnt assigned 'Socialist ' ...it sort of emerged later.

I think you should maybe do some reading on gender. your child will thank you for it

Isn’t it strange but when people do read up on gender ideology they realise quite what sexist misogynistic clap trap it all is?

What I don't get is if gender is supposedly some internal 'feeling', as trans people argue, how can it possibly be assigned to you at birth? It'd be the same as assigning someone as an introvert or an extrovert - we couldn't possibly know! It's pretty obvious that it is biological sex that is being noted, even by their argument.

They don't have single sex toilets?
Do they have ones that are self contained instead? As in a small room with a full door and a toilet and sink inside?
If not isn't that against the law?

It’s everywhere. I deregistered from Mumsnet for a while and when I signed back up they asked for my gender rather sex
