I'm a man!

According to an gender role test I've just done (it's backed up by evidence - listed at the end) I am only 22% feminine.

Perhaps 20 years is too long a time to be expected to remember whether it was I or dh actually giving birth? I shall have to tell dd.

I'm 75% masculine. Trapped in the wrong body, oh no! Totally can't cope with the cognitive dissonance of being an individual, not just 50% of the population! Get me a doctor!

nevermorelenore · 07/07/2020 15:53

50% masculine and 58% feminine. WTF was with that quiz though? Am I 'mild'? I don't bloody know. It changes day to day.

PenguindreamsofDraco · 07/07/2020 13:49

83% masculine, 8% feminine. Presumably 9% clownfish.

Quillink · 07/07/2020 13:31

61% masculine/50% feminine - undifferentiated androgynous apparently (I'm male if not obvious from the username).

Snap, Steve! But I'm female Confused

Pigeonfaces · 07/07/2020 13:26

I am typically masculine apparently, due to ‘cursing’ a lot presumably, and not being sufficiently ‘mild’ or ‘compassionate’.
It’s ridiculous. The promoters say it shows a high level of accuracy - what does that even mean? Does it mean over 50 percent masculine scoring people are generally male? And if so doesn’t that suggest it’s just testing conformity with stereotypes?
I feel ashamed for having done it. I should have permed my eyelashes or something instead & boosted my near extinct femininity before I grow a moustache.

OnlyTheLangoftheTitBerg · 07/07/2020 13:06

The next time some Twitter troll calls me ‘cis’ I can give them what for.

Goodness knows what the other 30% is. Permanently exhausted pigeon?

I'm a man!
moofolk · 07/07/2020 12:57

Ooh I did one of those recently and I am 'casually masculine'

😂😂

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2020 12:53

I'm only casually feminine, do I get to keep my vagina?

Maybe only if it's relaxed fit?Confused

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 07/07/2020 12:38

42% masculine
42% feminine
Hmm

SnuggyBuggy · 07/07/2020 12:35

I'm only casually feminine, do I get to keep my vagina?

Chiochan · 07/07/2020 12:30

Im exactly 50/50.
Im 'undifferentiatiated'
I do hope my new gender is legally recognised.

Mothership4two · 07/07/2020 03:50

Hang on 67% F and 19% M. What's the other 14% then?

Mothership4two · 07/07/2020 03:47

Hmm.

67% feminine. Think the questions are more introvert/extrovert with a few weird/irrelevant ones. I'm definitely an introvert

NewNameNewShoes · 07/07/2020 03:09

58% masculine (I'm a bloke).

Oliversmumsarmy · 07/07/2020 02:58

100% masculineand 39% feminine

Don’t know how they worked that out as I thought percentages worked out to 100.

HeistSociety · 07/07/2020 02:26

I also am less than 100% of a personality. I think the missing bit is the can't be arsed with bullshit bit.

But I am toying with the idea of telling my extremely woke kids that I'm coming out as non-binary, and they can no longer Mum-gender me.

HeistSociety · 07/07/2020 02:24

I'm undifferentiated androgynous. Whatever that means. I guess I'm non-binary. Gotta go dye the hair to match.

UnhappyMondays · 07/07/2020 02:22

75% male and 17% female ... maybe the missing 8% is the percentage of nb.... . . ?

TehBewilderness · 07/07/2020 00:24

I'm only three quarters of a man because I am 74% masculine and 44% feminine and WTF is the leftover bit do you suppose.

Thinkingabout1t · 07/07/2020 00:23

Perhaps 20 years is too long a time to be expected to remember whether it was I or dh actually giving birth?

MiddlesexGirl · 07/07/2020 00:22

50% feminine and 33% masculine. What is the other 17%? What a load of bollocks

Probably given to me. I got 67% masculine 47% feminine. I've a big personality clearly Hmm

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2020 00:19

And if you go through the test clicking fully agree on everything it comes out as 100% Male and 100% female

Lots of those characteristics don't seem gendered at all. Happy, loyal - do they throw in some neutrals or are those being designated m of f?Confused

PotholeParadise · 07/07/2020 00:19

@ErrolTheDragon

Is that because you can theoretically score 100% on both feminine and masculine, maybe?

Makes no sense to me.

I'm wondering if it's actually two separate tests running in parallel, if you see what I mean (I can't gigure out how to explain this). So there is a meter from 0% to 100% for characteristics assigned as feminine and another meter for characteristics assigned as masculine.

It's the only thing that fits all the posts so far.

Krieger · 07/07/2020 00:18

53% masculine and 53% feminine. I wonder where the extra 6% of me is.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/07/2020 00:14

If you go through the test leaving it set in the middle for everything it comes out as 33% m, 33%f.
