I don't remember us ever being ridiculed. That would have been difficult considering what we were saying was mostly common sense. It was violent opposition from the start.

Whenever I see stuff like this I just try to remember the quote:
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident

If we had no chance of winning this fight we'd still be ridiculed but we are fully in stage 2 now. The violent opposition is getting stronger but so are we. They can ban us from Twitter and delete our forums but they can't hold back the tide now.

I'm so angry about this

It was a mixed place. Some stuff on there I do think strayed into hating on men. But you know what - people ARGUED with it. Some of the discussions were brilliant, and it had an amazing international dimension that this place lacks - there were a lot of Americans, but also feminists from Asia and the Middle East and South America, who gave a really different perspective on everything. It was the first place I've been on the Internet that felt truly international like that.

Fuck this shit. I'm so tired of this.

I am gutted and furious and tbh surprised. I know I shouldn't be, but reddit houses discussions on rape and violence and all kinds of depraved shit and women discussing among themselves get banned?? Fuck them. Fuck the activist mods on most "women's" subreddits who only cater to women with dicks, fuck the admins, fuck all of them sad little wankers who can't handle women having an opinion.

It was a brilliant source of information, articles and research. I don't understand how they have such disgusting rape subreddits and yet women are not allowed to discuss the encroaching of their rights, and what we are able to do about it.
Because men... is the only real answer.

Thanks welcome back. I was posting on r/GC a few days ago though am not a regular, sad it's gone and the corner of the internet where women can speak freely is even smaller.

R/GC was extremely careful to observe the rules. Posts that strayed into defamatory or transphobic territory were removed.
