I worked with Lord (Philip) Hunt many years ago for a while, and he was and remains someone for whom I have the deepest respect. He taught me a lot. He has real integrity; he was also one of only two or three (gosh, it’s so long ago I can’t remember) Labour ministers who resigned from Tony Blair’s government over the Iraq war.

I used to read a lot of his books when I was a teenager and he couldn’t end a book well to save his life. So it doesn’t surprise me he’s changed the ending once again to something fucking ridiculous 🙄

By these actions, JK is rising beyond being a author, admittedly of best selling books; she is now a voice that speaks truth to power.

There are very few people who ever do this in their lives. There are very few people who have both the guts and such an unshakeable sense of justice.

I no longer simply admire JK Rowling; I am now in awe.

She is incredible, a role model of the likes that I never thought I would see in my lifetime.
