That thread was something else. If that’s what much of social media outside Mumsnet is, I’m glad I don’t go there. Utterly vile and weird in a horribly perverted way. I was just about to post to say so when it vanished.

Sympathies to Graham. Happily all the men I know are decent sorts, like him, who like and value women. The others - well I hope that I, my daughter and granddaughters never meet them.

The toxic MRA's that swarmed all his original thread on here show themselves up v well indeed, I hope Mumsnet can repost it without edit.

that comment, not unsurprisingly was by a newly registered user.

there was a massive influx of new users trolling the boards in the early hours, some still are.

Twitter has just suspended me because I quoted an ableist slur that a TRA had used. I can't check but I would bet money that the TRA is still there

I cant seem to get past page 5 it just goes blank full of deleted comments and abuse. Honestly can they not argue their point without vitriol.

MNHQ have done something weird to glinner's thread so the link doesn't work properly although it's not been deleted. @mnhq please don't delete it. I know it's full of trolling but it's actually really important for people to see what happens to people who challenge the cult.

His thread is being targeted by actual trolls so I guess it’ll be impossible for MN to moderate it and it’ll be deleted soon. The absolute weirdness that it has attracted is disturbing and will effectively shut down any discussion. Lots of new accounts posting utter shite.

I hope it’s temporary. He could be more tactful on occasion but who couldn’t? Ultimately he’s sacrificed a lot to bring awareness of GC issues and I will miss him on Twitter.

I saw some of the posts in the other thread. The vitriol directed at someone for expressing views outside the increasingly rigid orthodoxy is something else. It's like Lord of the Flies.

I saw that. There has been an organised campaign against him for weeks. Unfortunately for the TRAs their house of cards is falling anyway, no matter how desperately they try to hold it up.
