She hosts a not even remotely popular game show in the states. The main advert for it that aired for ages featured a contestant giving a gross, sexist answer and then it cut to her roaring with laughter. Sums her up perfectly.

I think her embrace of this 'Danielle' character she sees as a kind of charity work and thinks it makes her look good incredibly open-minded and kind. She sees it fits in with her whole 'I weigh" brand, in that how you look doesn't define your worth as a human being. Thing is, 'Danielle' is a rampant misogynist trolling women as a pushback against feminism. It reminds me of this prank where they try to get people to sign up to ending women's suffrage. So many people are just willing to put their names to what is presented as a good cause whilst not even understanding what they're signing up for. I really think Jameela should be able to say whatever she likes, freedom of speech and all that, but I do find it incredibly embarrassing that she calls herself a 'feminist' whilst being played by the men's rights movement.
