Where do you all I've that there are so many lurking sexual predators?

This reminds me of when white people say that they don't witness racism so it doesn't happen LOL of course you don't see it, you're white, it's not aimed at you!

Oh and also

It is our job as humans to fight off these predators together if and when these situations occur

From the bottom of my heart. Go fuck yourself.

DickKerrLadies · 15/06/2020 17:07

Damn, you're good, Datun

I am a WOMAN in every fucking sense of the word I am a beautiful woman.

Just wanted to add that from Ava in case the rest of the post gets deleted.

Want to shout it at the women a little louder, Ava? That'll show us.

PurpleCrowbarWhereIsLangCleg · 15/06/2020 17:06

then expect to be asked to leave, Ava, & ultimately, if you repeat this behaviour, banned from the premises.

I used to run pubs 20 years ago. Male persons wandering into the Ladies is not a new phenomenon.

@NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace

You can't generalize.

You can. It's very dangerous for the majority to do otherwise.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Chesterton%27s_fence

In the matter of reforming things, as distinct from deforming them, there is one plain and simple principle; a principle which will probably be called a paradox. There exists in such a case a certain institution or law; let us say, for the sake of simplicity, a fence or gate erected across a road. The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, "I don't see the use of this; let us clear it away." To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: "If you don't see the use of it, I certainly won't let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it.

If Ava, or anyone else, thinks that sex segregated spaces shouldn't exist then they need to explain the rationale behind them in the first place. In this instance it is for the privacy, dignity and safety of women and girls.

They then need to explain and evidence how the risk from males no longer exists and why women and girls no longer have a right to privacy and dignity.

@Datun

So, cant stay within guidelines, wrong about the Stonewall riots, wrong about the prevalence of predatory men, wrong about women being a threat, wrong about stats and wrong about being able to access women's toilets, once the government has issued their directives.

And it's not even a record.

Just another day on FWR...
oo0Tinkerbell0oo · 15/06/2020 17:04

All of the people coming under the trans umbrella do not do so 100% of the time. How can you even try to define yourself as female when you only spend a small % of the time as one. Only dressing as such on say a night out with like minded people, how does that give you the right to use a womans loo when you spend all the rest of the time as a male. I have experienced these loos and they are disgusting, not hygienic in the slightest.

Datun · 15/06/2020 17:03

No I shall be using the ladies as I always do thanks.

#MeToo

AvaMonroe · 15/06/2020 17:03

@PurpleCrowbarWhereIsLangCleg

But you aren't female, Ava, nor are you the same sex as the women in the women's toilets.

So if they are single sex you will not be expected to use them.

Unisex additional provision would be fine, though. There might even be some women keeping you company in there.

Yes I am, No I shall be using the ladies as I always do thanks.

And do not mistake silence for consent

We do not confront males because we di not feel safe to do so. Using female socialisation and our genuine life fears to your advantage is manipulative

THREAD:It is a complete myth that Marsha P. Johnson & Sylvia Rivera started the Stonewall riots, & thus the transgender community is responsible for Pride/LGB rights. This false claim has gained significant traction, & needs to be addressed. 1/9

  1. MPJ/SR DID NOT START THE RIOT. According MPJ’s own words in this excerpt from a 1989 interview with Eric Marcus on the show “Making Gay History,” MPJ arrived at Stonewall after the riot had already begun; and SR was not there at all. So it is impossible MPJ or SR 2/9 t.co/ARSnGQtrVM

“threw the first brick”/started the riot. In fact, a lesbian was the riot’s catalyst, with many believing the lesbian in question was Stormé DeLarverie. Failing to acknowledge her, while falsely attributing her revolutionary act to males, reflects the misogyny in the LGB & T. 3/9

2.NOT TRANSGENDER. MPJ was not trans, & explicitly said in the film “Pay It No Mind”—made 4 days before he died—that he was a gay man.He corrected anyone who referred to him as anything other than a man. SR/MPJ were drag queens/transvestites. 4/9
t.co/FEkhCcOWMd

  1. GAYS/LESBIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LGB RIGHTS/PRIDE.The first Pride took place on June 28, 1970, & was primarily organized/proposed by Craig Rodwell/Fred Sargeant (@fredsargeant),Ellen Broidy, & Linda Rhodes--gay men & lesbians. Several earlier organization, such as 5/9

The Daughters of Bilitis/The Mattachine Society, & annual reminder days raising awareness of homosexual discrimination in the mid-60s, show that gays/lesbians fought for our rights well before Stonewall.And while transsexuals/transgender ppl may have helped over the decades, 6/9

the claim we "owe" our rights them is completely absurd.

  1. TRANS REVISIONISM. The point of this revisionism, attributing Stonewall/Pride/LGB rights to trans ppl, is to engender in LGB a sense of obligation to advance trans ideology/objectives, & to bolster trans status. 7/9

  1. Excellent, brief (abt 10 min) NYT video w/ leading gay historians, Stonewall patrons, & analysis regarding who "threw the first brick."

You are not female. We could find more common ground here and have more empathy if you would stop lying.

It's the lack of honesty I just can't be doing with.

Datun · 15/06/2020 16:56

Grand, In that case I will be in the ladies.

Aww you! Tch tch. .

And there you were pretending that you had no idea that most women are frightened of men violating their boundaries.

LastRoloIsMine · 15/06/2020 16:56

but this idea that you could fight off a woman before you could a trans woman or a man isn't right.

Why isn't it right?
The majority of males are stronger than females. Thats a fact.
Truth is I do not want to share public toilets or changing rooms with males and I should not be forced to.

Ava

I am genuinely sorry you have been beaten up. Even worse by family. No one should have to go through that. Violence is disgusting and should have no place in society.

That fear is something women fear daily w are murdered a week by their partners. Funnily enough the biggest threat of violence towards men is by other men.

So why dont all those born male sort fye violence out amongst themselves. Why do women have to mop ot up and be support humans for every male who may not he safe in the mens.

AvaMonroe · 15/06/2020 16:54

@Datun

Maybe there could be a rule where there can't just be two people in a bathroom?

Or.

We could just let the government get on with what they said they're going to do, and keep toilets segregated by sex.

Grand, In that case I will be in the ladies. It doesn't bother me whether a place has gender nuetral toilets or not as I am female and use the ladies and never had any issue from anyone. I just don't see why the idea has to be met with such a response that all these men coming in can't be fought off and will attack, Gender Neutral toilets do make those that are non binary or gender fluid have the option though.
titchy · 15/06/2020 16:54

You could fight me off

I'm 5'1". I couldn't fight you or anyone else off. Can I have my own toilet please.
