We live among you and my heart really goes out to those that don't "pass"

I find it hard to believe that any "pass". Do you think that we're so dim that we can't spot a man when we see one?

OvaHere · 15/06/2020 18:06

Recovery? There is no cure for gender dysphoria apart from transitioning and for people to use mental health ally disgusting.

Detransitioners exist and are quite a growing group. They may still have gender dysphoria but are finding other ways to deal with it.

Also transitioning isn't always a cure. Many people find their dysphoria is the same or worse post transition. It's not helpful to make blanket statements.

VickyEadieofThigh · 15/06/2020 18:02

Are these the same gay people that are accused of transphobia when lesbians don't want to have sex with a bepenised male body despite angry claims that the penis is, in fact, a female one?

Indeed.

WhatwouldLangdo · 15/06/2020 18:01

What other lies were allegedly told and I can respond to each.

Primarily that you are a woman.

Gay people would not and do not want trans people being spoken about like how they are being on here I know that much.

PurpleCrowbarWhereIsLangCleg · 15/06/2020 18:00

Ava, the whole thread was about Mermaids' lies before you me-railed it.

Maybe go back & read, rather than demanding the support humans repeat themselves?

VickyEadieofThigh · 15/06/2020 17:59

Gay people would not and do not want trans people being spoken about like how they are being on here I know that much.

That's a bit of a wild generalisation, I think.

Many of us on here are lesbians. We feel oppressed by trans notions such as the "cotton ceiling" and object wildly to the notion that a male calls himself a "lesbian".

Lesbians have suffered enough oppression in our lives from men, without this nonsense.

SarahTancredi · 15/06/2020 17:59

Well when your supposed victim hood has gotten you to where you are ,purely because after hearing such a sad story human beings in general would struggle to justify questioning anything. Because how does that look...

But this has enabled them to become lax/sloppy with their research and keeping up to date and genuinely getting their fact straight, they just cant do it.

They still have followers for now who are happy to keep bigging them up and inflating their egos congratulating them for all the work they do.

But now people are waking up to the fact they cant answer questions and that their methods are questionable. And they dont have the means to combat that right now in an factual way and the sob stories are just not cutting it any morw

AvaMonroe · 15/06/2020 17:58

@TheSingingKettle49

So we do blend in, We live among you and my heart really goes out to those that don't "pass"

It’s always the forehead that gives it away to me straight away, you can be a beautiful as you like but there’s nothing you can do about the forehead.

This is pathetic.
DickKerrLadies · 15/06/2020 17:57

@VickyEadieofThigh

I mean, when you remember that a key Mermaids person actually took a person* to court for 'transphobia'...

Lost miserably and looked entirely ridiculous, of course.

*A transwoman.

For a charity that claims to represent trans people, a self-identified 'cis' woman [sic] taking a transwomen to court for transphobia is a really bad look and if I were trans, I'd have concerns about such an organisation seemingly trying to speak on my behalf.

But alas, I am 'just' a mother, so I will save my concerns for the children who have their toys taken away from them because they are deemed to be the 'wrong' toys for a child of that sex.

@WhatwouldLangdo

AN ABSOLUTE CUNT

Even funnier in caps 😂😂😂

Sorry if you don't like the truth @AvaMonroe but anyone identifying themselves as a transwoman is by definition biologically male. A natal female is just a regular woman. You know, the type that don't want penises anywhere we don't consent to.

Despite your male privilege, lies, aggression and indignant disregard of the group of women you claim to belong to, I hope you find yourself in recovery from (the diagnosed mental illness) gender dysphoria soon and make peace with your true biological self.

Someone asked me about the lies Mermaids told, I feel this argument about whether or not Marsha was a trans woman is clutching at straws. Gay people would not and do not want trans people being spoken about like how they are being on here I know that much.

VickyEadieofThigh · 15/06/2020 17:52

You see, the trouble as I see it with Mermaids with regard to a 'response' to a well written, thoughtful and reasoned piece by a very accomplished writer is that the people who run this worrying organisation can neither:

(a) write well
(b) think rationally or
(c) argue reasonably.

Anyway, back to the thread topic.

What do you think of the lies told by Mermaids in their statement, Ava?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 15/06/2020 17:48

That too Datun.

I predicted right and I claim the 50p I bet myself that Ava would ignore all the other posts and choose to correct someone instead.

Datun · 15/06/2020 17:47

@Ereshkigalangcleg

This whole gender movement isn't big on the concept of consent.

Indeed. Or boundaries.

Or realistic self perception.
AvaMonroe · 15/06/2020 17:43

@Roseburn

toilet attendants? Do they actually still exist?

What about Lift attendants. Havent seen one of them for years either.

They still exist here in Ireland, Not sure about UK.

PurpleCrowbarWhereIsLangCleg · 15/06/2020 17:41

Always with the 'spouting' or the 'spewing', too.

It's like they think we should be gargoyles...

Michelleoftheresistance · 15/06/2020 17:39

but to have to deal with reactions like the ones spouted on this site.

Reactions based on females wanting privacy, dignity, spaces for those who cannot share mixed sex spaces because of faith, culture, disability, and those females who are afraid .

All you see here is female duty to TW. You don't see females as anything more than lesser support humans based on how you've spoken to every female here from the moment you entered this thread. You demand submission and the hurling aside of all female needs and you're showing anger and shaming to anything else.

And then you're shocked that females here aren't making the noises you find appropriate.

Datun · 15/06/2020 17:38

"Sometimes it's not what someone looks like that makes them stick out like a sore thumb."

Your sense of entitlement, Ava, and your determination to violate women's boundaries, no matter what, makes you stick out like a sore thumb.

Wherever you go, women will be clocking you.

No woman walks around with a sense of entitlement and an aggressive determination to access her own spaces.

Particularly on the basis of beauty! Your sexism will be blinding.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 15/06/2020 17:37

Funnily enough on a night out last year my gay friend was drunk and getting sick and I was told by the toilet attendant on the gents that I couldn't come in to get a male friend.

Ava, read that ....and then read it again and really think about what you’re saying.
