Pink News tried to make out JK Rowlings was lying.

Fact Check decided to see who was right.

And of course she was!

But PN haven't apologised to her - what a surprise.

Why have they stated that government guidance is consistent with guidance from Mermaids. Surely this should be the other way round. Mermaids don’t make the law (though they try to).

Judging by the Twitter replies to the Fact Check account, people aren’t interested in facts because facts are transphobic.
This is fast becoming like that article that listed all the things the Daily Mails says cause cancer. It will be quicker to list the things that are not deemed to be transphobic. I’m sure sunlight will be joining the shit list imminently.
