Just seen this on Twitter.

For those who like their Ginger Shampoo, can I suggest MooGoo.

Also, Aveeno is a good replacement for their Shea butter.

Other thoughts welcome. Feel free to suggest other ideas.

I actually think that I fart more than I menstruate. It’s much more consistent throughout the month.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 13/06/2020 17:56

*Menstruators
FFS

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 13/06/2020 17:55

*Menstruates
And other rage typos.

GinGin this evening.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 13/06/2020 17:54

Well, that's a bummer because I have to use to use sunscreen and theirs isn't greasy and comes in handy little tubes.

I'm out of there. 'Menstuators'. God give me strength.

@ClaraEccles

Here’s how the Body Shop apparently responded to one email...

Speechless.

Sooo late to the party, my apologies.

But... FFS

Loving the reviews!

Lordfrontpaw · 13/06/2020 16:04

Their chat doesn’t seem to be working. Did someone break it?

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 13/06/2020 13:30

Excellent reviews Grin

YinMnBlue · 13/06/2020 13:23

Until they rename their “shaving for men” and “skincare for men” sections, they have NO business commenting on menstruating for women.

Laughable hypocrisy.

skybluee · 13/06/2020 13:12

Their products are terrible anyway. You imagine them to be healthy, organic, environmentally friendly but if you look at the ingredients they're often no better than supermarket items. I've always thought it's all a bit false.

CaraDune · 13/06/2020 12:44

Sexnotgender I especially love your "please educate yourselves and do better".

Oh, I wish Man Friday were still active. They were geniuses.

Cismyfatarse1 · 13/06/2020 12:43

The 95% is not scientific but based on my most recent (early March) trip to my local shop. DH stood in front of a shelf for him, the rest of the shop seemed aimed at me or, being generous, everyone.

Lordfrontpaw · 13/06/2020 12:43

Well - they don’t really understand though do they?

Cismyfatarse1 · 13/06/2020 12:42

Yes. But not one mention.

OP posts:
Lordfrontpaw · 13/06/2020 12:36

Well I guess the assumption is that it’s for women unless otherwise mentioned. That’s a very generous interpretation.

Cismyfatarse1 · 13/06/2020 12:34

Have you seen the videos / screenshots searching for the word women on the Body Shop site?

0 for women

64 mentions of men

So, assuming 95% of their products, roughly, are aimed at women, why not a single mention?

TheWayOfTheWorld · 13/06/2020 11:21

These are brilliant - loving the comments about being triggered by the word "men" etc Grin

sleepydragons · 13/06/2020 10:28

I may have just reviewed their product for men. When I registered I got an email stating 'there is something for everyone at the Body Shop' - oh the irony Grin

littlbrowndog · 13/06/2020 10:10

Lol 😂

Cismyfatarse1 · 13/06/2020 10:07

They actually published it. Note my lovely user name.

@Gingerkittycat - thank you! She has some really great stuff in her shop. 😍

Lordfrontpaw · 13/06/2020 08:36

Did I mention trust pilot? Come on now, own up - which one of you was it? Adrienne...

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 13/06/2020 08:07

@Sexnotgender that's brilliant Grin

Sexnotgender · 13/06/2020 07:50

Finding this quite cathartic.
