Thank you. I already loved Elbow but they've got a proper special place in my heart now.

It must be annoying though, when you manage to convince a doctor to give you a letter saying you have gender disphoria and so you have a bit of paper to support your clothing choices and elaborate hair arrangements, and then poof, the places women gather still know that you are male and won't join in the pretence or validation. It must be very annoying. What a shame.

Z0rr0 · 10/06/2020 14:40

Tracy-Ann Oberman is taking small, small steps towards overt support today.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 10/06/2020 12:19

They TRA's so desperate for screenshots and non existant reasons to demand the shut down of MN. Ya know, the site that supports millions of women around the globe through any issues they may have at all stages if their lives. They can't bear it that it's not about them and that we are allowed to talk freely.

They don't give a shiny shit about the women on these boards who have/are still suffering at the hands of abusive men and that just having that lifeline of knowing someone out there is listening is everything.

It's like when they spead the bullshit about our campaigns being funded by the right wing, evangelist, Americans because the thought that thousands of women could organise and donate £10 each in a short time blows their tiny minds.

12 step programmes require a whole lot of self honesty and caring about others. Not going to work well.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2020 11:40

We should PM each other the names of the other blue ticks, and to get them you have to demonstrate a solid history of GC posts on Mumsnet Grin

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 10/06/2020 11:36

The consistently hostile Joss Prior must be reading this thread.

Can someone not develop some sort of 12 step program to help Joss with Joss's compulsive need to monitor what women are talking about on the internet?

Re Craig, well done that lad.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 10/06/2020 11:34

achieving trans 'rights' is simply the ending of women's rights

Yep.

teawamutu · 10/06/2020 11:23

@Collidascope

Be aware that if you reveal the other blue ticks on this thread, you'll probably unleash Joss Prior on them
Ah yes, good point - please don't on my account!
Freespeecher · 10/06/2020 11:19

Joss Stone too (is she still around?)

Michelleoftheresistance · 10/06/2020 11:15

More verification that if you dare to say you support women you have by extension rejected the political transactivist lobby.

It really, seriously is what they mean: achieving trans 'rights' is simply the ending of women's rights.

BaronessRadishFemish · 10/06/2020 11:12

Every time someone says Joss I just think Ackland.

I think stick.

Craig's been on our side for quite a while. Lovely bloke.

teawamutu · 10/06/2020 11:04

Really? Which ones?

Botsy · 10/06/2020 11:02

I've noticed a few more blue ticks in support!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/06/2020 10:54

The consistently hostile Joss Prior must be reading this thread.

The least surprising thing I've read all week.

DickKerrLadies · 10/06/2020 10:51

The consistently hostile Joss Prior must be reading this thread. Prior has gone straight over to Craig's thread to spit the usual venom at him.

Lols. At least it's nice to see some consistency from our PBP monitors!

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 10/06/2020 10:48

Some people really do our work for us even as they think they're doing the opposite ...

Deliriumoftheendless · 10/06/2020 10:07

Every time someone says Joss I just think Ackland.

🤷‍♀️

I'm not seeing much of a difference in gender presentation...

I don't thing haranguing and lecturing someone is going to bring them over to your side.

For someone who is banned from hates Mumsnet so much, they do spend a lot of time monitoring the threads.

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 10/06/2020 09:43

I find the idea that Prior thinks Prior’s behaviour does anything for Prior’s cause utterly bemusing

Sexnotgender · 10/06/2020 09:42

What a sad, sad life Joss must lead. Imagine being that much of a loser.

Z0rr0 · 10/06/2020 09:39

It does my nut in all the little tattle tails that run to Twitter to bitch about women here having thoughts and discussions about things that pertain to us. GTFU
