JK Rowling remains brilliant. Once this has blown over, not only will she be remembered for her fantastic books but historically she’ll be remembered as a strong fearless woman. I look forward to my grandchildren learning about her at school.

If @that70schk had really studied women, in order to see how they behave, speak and dress and thus become "more womanly", then can someone please point me to the chapter which gave clear instructions as to how a woman dresses themselves.
I only ask this as a bloke, because in all my time on this little planet, I have never witnessed a girl/woman/human female, taking selfies of themselves in public, whilst wearing frilly lingerie outside their jeans.

In the past my reaction to oversharing of fetishes was to mentally step back while wondering if it was me being old-fashioned. Now I curl my lip in disgust. Before anyone tries to misquote me, it's the sharing, ie foisting*, and the public performances that trigger this reaction.

It seems to be an as you go about your day thing, like they just walk around NYC with their keks on the outside wiggling their crotch at the world and filming it while tagging themselves as "sexy". 20 years ago my reaction would have been pity but years of propaganda and boundary pushing have shifted that response into irritation.

How do these people have so much time to spend on this kind of behaviour, photographing it, discussing it etc? Haven't they got work to do? Livings to earn? It is all so much self absorption and lack of interest in anything else that is going on in the world.

And the thing is, there are semi public spaces where that's acceptable and people have opted in (specific kinds of clubs for example), and those people could make use of those, but they're actively choosing to harass the general public instead.
