Sure, JK is loaded, but so many others who have stood up to this bullying are not, and have required crowd funding to get anywhere. Still, they stood their ground.

I prefer to think it’s not so easy to bully someone who knows her own mind and fights for her rights, billionaire or not.

However, I am not - as many of the people now swarming into my mentions seem to think - ashamed of reading about the assault. You should know by now that accusations of thought crime leave me cold. Take your censorship and authoritarianism elsewhere. They don't work on me.

This was the perfect response btw. Its also going to have a lot of people looking into the assault and having that wtf moment.

I am rather intrigued about the copy and paste fail though. The case she was copying about is fairly old news (Sorry Maria, not unimportant news obv) so she must have been going through old articles etc, reviewing stuff and making notes of particular points either for her own purposes or possibly in correspondence with others.
I wonder what she's up to.

I just saw this on Twitter, aimed at a Canadian: polititian, candidate for leadership of GP there, who tweeted in support of Nic:

Men arguing with women about what a woman is, is deeply offensive and misogynistic. Nicola is performing female stereotypes, he isn't a woman. And you cannot force people to say he is.

Shame on you for supporting men who show such disdain for women, and facts, and even reality.

I certainly wasn't expecting such excitement this evening but it's quite a turn of events. And I love her accidental copy and paste.
Which is a rather interesting mistake.
Either she was rereading matters relating to the case and sending details to another person, perhaps someone in need of education surrounding the issues.
OR she "accidentally" copied in something that would really fan the flames. But as her tweet was responding to a child I doubt she would have done it on purpose given the language involved.

God I love her just so much. I think JK has probably donated often to these causes/campaigns etc, she just does so anonymously. That is my pet theory!

I would love her to fund a chair in gender critical studies at a university. And Jane Clare Jones should be the inaugural post holder (or co-chair with Kathleen Stock).
