Young women don't know what a woman is

This is absolutely staggering.

The latest poll commissioned by Wings over Scotland on the subject of self-ID, finds that all demographics in their majority believe a woman is an adult human female.

Except young women.

"The 16-34 female demographic actually voted by a narrow six-point majority that a person’s sex has absolutely nothing to do with biology. Even the next-closest group (young men) was a staggering FORTY points adrift from that view (net -34), and middle-aged women were close behind them at a net -36. Among women over 55 the margin against self-ID was a crushing 62 points (over 4:1 against), with older men at a breathtaking 10:1."

Lucky I wasn’t asking the questions on that survey.

I think as children we don’t see it - I’m always telling my teenage daughter that one day her younger brother will be bigger and stronger than her and will take revenge on her for all the times she’s overpowered him in their play fighting. It’s hard for her to believe. It takes a while to realise how different men are in terms of strength.

Then we go through a period of denying it because we don’t want differences to be highlighted - it seems to devalue women because we are less strong and less fast. The areas where we are stronger and fitter for the world (inc surviving a virus as it turns out) are harder to see at that age. And at 19 you don’t value the idea of being the human that can bring life to the world. And you don’t value the idea of being an 80 year old woman with all the wisdom of age. And it seems rude to mention that all the men will be dead by then.

Plus the disadvantages of the female sex haven’t fully kicked in yet - female biology, sexism, maternity, menopause. Maybe they haven’t even gone through every woman’s true rite of passage yet - sexual assault by a man. That’s when you really see how it works.

By 40 you’ve dealt with all of that and more. They’ll get there.

And they’ll get there quicker if we can get Stonewall out of the classroom. We’re getting there.

I wonder how many, if any, of those young women have children. Experiencing something that only women can do tends to show up the stark differences in men and women.

The fear must be immense. Many of us are cautious about our actions, always keeping an eye on our safety, on and off line. Imagine being a teenager / young person and knowing that Stonewall, the CPS or countless very powerful trans groups / individuals could get you hounded off social media, make your life in a school or university a nightmare. And we know that until recently universities have been very quick to take the Stonewall shilling while abandoning staff and students to the hate mobs:

As Wings' poll shows, though, when given specific examples (bepenised people allowed in changing rooms, Freddy McConnell registered as mother or father) young women know very well what a woman is (and isn't).

The first question is the theoretical TWAW slogan, which apparently sounds appealing and of-the-moment.

Subsequent questions illustrate the actual consequences of applying the TWAW slogan in real life.

but then how would you explain the middle-aged women like marfisa?

Marfisa thinks that being a woman is not related to biology, so I have no idea what sex marfisa is. And that's by taking what they say on the internet literally.

What's shocking is that anyone answers that they think a woman is "anyone who says they are one". It's bollocks and they know it.

TreestumpsAndTrampolines · 08/05/2020 15:43

They tell me I'm being sexist when I say men, as a class, are bigger and stronger than women.

Can they just not look around the room and see it, self-evident, in front of them?

What is going on?!!?

0DETTE · 08/05/2020 15:41

Maybe they know a XY person in their book group / office who is perfectly lovely and therefore all women and girls must give up their sex based rights.

Helmetbymidnight · 08/05/2020 15:40

is it shoes? or hair?

Floisme · 08/05/2020 15:40

To be honest a lot of my young colleagues would probably agree. They tell me I'm being sexist when I say men, as a class, are bigger and stronger than women. I tell them they've been watching too many super hero movies. Plus the desire to be cool is very strong.

I think as you get older, biology comes along and bites you on the arse.

ElizaCrouch · 08/05/2020 15:39

Well, I'm a middle-aged woman myself

How do you know?

Helmetbymidnight · 08/05/2020 15:37

but then how would you explain the middle-aged women like marfisa? she genuinely seems to have come to her own conclusion that women must not have any spaces or rights based on their sex.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 08/05/2020 15:36

Scary.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 08/05/2020 15:35

These young women have been groomed from when they were teenagers. This toxic ideology has been given unthinking access to children in schools for years - and now we have a generation of young women who are so terrified of being called a bigot that they cluelessly assert that women can have a penis.

YouJustDoYou · 08/05/2020 15:35

They're probably petrified of mentioning biology, in case they're found out and hounded out of their jobs, university courses, homes etc.

Antibles · 08/05/2020 15:33

It's not that they don't know what a biological female is, they've just been successfully bullied/persuaded/gaslit into giving up the word 'woman' as an exclusive descriptor for that biological state so as not to be mean and exclusionary to AGPs TWs.

A deeply troubling state of affairs. Luckily they still have us on their side whether or not they realise they need us.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 08/05/2020 15:30

I agree with you Michelleoftheresistance, it's no coincidence.

Michelleoftheresistance · 08/05/2020 15:29

Who first decided the word women no longer meant just biological females?

Who are these girls obeying when they tell that lie?

Who benefits from this lie?

TreestumpsAndTrampolines · 08/05/2020 15:29

Out of interest, how did they decide what a young woman was for the purposes of the survey?

Well exactly. Surely you need a reference point or a definition to know, and if that's not biology, then what is it - someone needs to tell us.

aliasundercover · 08/05/2020 15:27

R0wantrees

Yep, I was about to post the same thing.

testing987654321 · 08/05/2020 15:24

Out of interest, how did they decide what a young woman was for the purposes of the survey?

R0wantrees · 08/05/2020 15:24

I don't think that the majority of young women polled don't know what a woman is, I think they are not able (yet) to assert it.

skql · 08/05/2020 15:24

if biology means nothing, why we categorize man and woman.

there's no man and woman.

isn't it?

Helmetbymidnight · 08/05/2020 15:23

she knows shes a woman coz she likes pretty things?

skql · 08/05/2020 15:22

Well, I'm a middle-aged woman myself,

how can you be so sure about that?
