jiggery I remember a TRA on twitter once stating that even pets don't have a sex and you should refer to then using neutral pronouns so you don't misgender them as they can't state their gender preference. Someone else asked them how they should find out if their cat was likely to get pregnant, if male and female don't exist, and the TRA said "simple, just wait a bit and see if it gives birth or not". I was very new to the debate at the time and assumed that this was an extreme fringe outlier level of crazy that didn't reflect the mainstream TRA position. I miss those days of simple innocence.

Systematic campaign to shut down MN. Now FWR isn't too everyone's taste but the desire to cut women off from a vital source of information for one section of the site is apoakung. I have seen women and men supported through serious illness, bereavement, domestic violence, crippling isolation the lot. This campaign originated with Dad of trans on Twitter. The aim is to Target every single income stream of mumsnet.

I think he (and "Dadtrans" are trying to ensure that women have nowhere they can speak about these issues in a way that centres women. Because a certain type of misogynist would love that.

A male doctor is stirring up hate against women during a global pandemic. How wonderful.

On a male-dominated website (which shall remain nameless), there's a very nasty thread on a certain doctor. Said thread is hundred times worse than anything that gets posted here. However, I have never even seen the good color even acknowledged this website.

The person he is helping appears to be targeting as many of mumsnet advertisers as they can.

I'm not sure they quite understand advertising. You want to sell a product, and given mumsnet has over 12 million unique users per month, it's kind of a no brainer.

Very interesting that that particular advertiser is asking for examples. And the examples they are sending them are opinion pieces, not actual examples 🙄

If transphobia is so widespread on the site then surely it'll be easy for him to get as many screenshots as he likes, right? No need to ask for help.

i expect he's rallying all the TRA trolls who posted specifically for screenshots before they were rightly deleted.

In some boggle eyed view, posting deliberately inflammatory and rule-breaking posts for the purpose of screenshots is considered "proof" of something they've made up.
