Dr Adrian Harrop (a trans activist) just asked for screen shots of anti trans statements posted here at MN

Posted his request about 5 minutes ago (or at least thats when I saw it) on twitter.

Im not even particularly anti trans, but when I see attempts to whip up mobs like that, I feel that hes making people anti trans.

Sort makes me want to resort to making insidious dog whistle anti trans rhetoric just to fuck with him.

Leaving his trans stance aside, going by the rest of his twitter offerings, hes definitely not the person I would want as a GP. Lacks decorum and gravitas.

So if say, 40 or 50 of us signed up to MN premium, would that be enough to keep the servers running? I hate the idea that people like this evil man can just take away this safe space for Mothers all over the world and I want to do my part as much as the next lady x

Also agree re MN Premium here, if Justine had said does anyone want to kick in a fiver a month towards the costs of sorting out this kind of shit specifically targeted against MN, I bet the reaction would have been more positive.

I'm skinter than a skint thing atm but bloody hell I would give my last pound to wipe the fucking smirks off the faces of these men that so hate and fear women speaking up.

I saw a tweet today of a photo of the latest surgery of the 'Human Ken' who has had a boob job that Lolo Ferrari would have been proud of and is now presenting as Barbie, not Ken. There is 'a look' they are going for but it's not 'natural woman'.

His hatred is chilling. The word psychopath shouldn't be used lightly, but when you come across his sort, you can see how previously civilised societies can turn savage. It just takes a few, in whom the barely controlled fury and wish to injure is barely concealed beneath the surface, to seize on a movement or cause; and whip up an anger amongst the easily influenced against people they would previously have viewed as their friend.

I understand why so many men desire to become women, we are the superior gender after all. But as far as I'm concerned, you'll never be biological women and I'd prefer you to be away from any female only safe spaces.

Other places? Well, you can find outright transphobia on Twitter very easily. Written by men (mostly).

Dr Harrop demonstrates evidence that he is an outright misogynist. It's women in their own spaces, talking together, that he appears to find threatening.
