Article in the Independent though reported elsewhere www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/julian-assange-children-ecuadorian-embassy-coronavirus-belmarsh-stella-morris-a9461251.html

Was alerted to this via facebook posts and I dont know what makes my blood boil more.

That this man has a family in Australia.

That he (and she) they should have children together in the circumstances (ie he is someone who is wanted for questioning relating to allegations of sexual abuse, that he broke his bail conditions, and ... )

That they (and it seesm the liberal press) think that by revealing these secret children it will make it more heart wrenching that being in prison means he might get the virus. What an obnoxious advantage of self regard and privilege to think you can use this arguement for your self but not bother to consider all the other prionsers this is also true for.

As someone said on facebook, can you imagine if this was a white working class couple let alone one from BME community who got press coverage for a similar story. They would be absolutely hounded in both the print press and the online press.

There seem to be no depths to which this self important w**ker will go.

Surely given he jumped bail before he would never be considered for bail again? Not that there's an embassy in the world that would give him refuge now, I hope, after seeing what happened to Ecuador.

It beats me how any woman could willingly allow him to touch her. He makes my skin crawl, and that predates finding out about the sexual assault allegations. Apart from anything else, he exudes self-satisfaction and arrogance, which I can't stand.

There is a programme to release some low risk prisoners early.

I am sure he will be considered for release, just as every prisoner is being considered.

Most Belmarsh prisoners are low risk, so I expect there will be releases from that prison. Then anyone remaining can be spaced out a little more. Was he on bail when he fled into the Embassy in the first place?

My (lay, mainly informed by the press) view is that there would be a significant risk of him not complying with bail, which would count against release at this point.

Yeah he’s revolting

I wouldn't normally align myself with Richard Littlejohn but his summing up of the situation more or less covers my own views. Envy

And she's his lawyer! Shouldn't she be struck off for that? The whole thing is bizarre and revolting

The Mail has more details.

I agree with what you say.
