Great turn out, I spent most of my time handing out leaflets- spoke to loads of people who were just aghast that this was happening. So few people are aware. Plenty of people will hopefully be going home to fill out the consultation. I had several people ask for extra leaflets to give their friends.

Also had a good laugh at the counter protest 😂

It was fab! Haven’t been to a protest for years. Felt so good to hear bloody good common sense being spoken out loud, unabashed. Well done ForWomen Scot - you did us proud

Great to see the pics on twitter, thanks to everyone who was there. And for every one person at the demo there's a small crowd who couldn't be there because job security worries and/or caring responsibilities...the latter disproportionately undertaken by women, and grown ups.
