I was in the Science Museum shop yesterday and saw these among the postcards.
I didn't attempt to buy one, they're not official merchandise and I didn't want to be the one to draw attention to them and get them removed.
Huge Interwebs high-five to whoever put them there!

Thank you for posting that link, heathspeedwell. I’ve been feeling a bit rough recently and it always, always cheers me up, no matter how many times I watch it Grin

I found a load of anti-choice leaflets in the rack at the GP’s surgery. They’d been put there unofficially.

Nope, I don't agree with that. But I do agree with this. Smile

Orangecake123 · 21/02/2020 17:06

I love it!

Honestly reminds me of the movie Alone in Berlin with Emma Thompson.

Lordfrontpaw · 21/02/2020 16:56

Depends what sort of thing it is I suppose...

PeterPomegranate · 21/02/2020 16:43

I’m not a fan of this kind of thing. I found a load of anti-choice leaflets in the rack at the GP’s surgery. They’d been put there unofficially.

FlamingoAndJohn · 21/02/2020 16:39

👏 👏 👏

Lordfrontpaw · 21/02/2020 16:35

Datum - yes. Yes he does. And we all know it.

Redshoeblueshoe · 21/02/2020 16:31

I'm sure he does Datun.

heathspeedwell · 21/02/2020 16:00

Every time I watch that clip it gets better.

I seriously hope more TV producers give Posie airtime, she has a genius for cutting straight to the heart of the matter.

Datun · 21/02/2020 15:56

It's like you can just summon it up by clicking your fingers.

If someone is playing that clip and there's no one around to hear it, does he still sound like a twat?

heathspeedwell · 21/02/2020 15:49

Hope this link works:

Redshoeblueshoe · 21/02/2020 15:36

Datun Harrop on Sky !
I wish Bore was here to provide a nice little link.
If I'd seen the postcards in the shop I would have tried to buy one Blush

Datun · 21/02/2020 14:51

Definitely. It's stunning campaign, in my opinion. If the dictionary definition of the word woman is offensive, then that, in itself, is a headline worth shouting from the rooftops.

Something that Posie made only too clear when she was on Sky with Harrop and he accused women of 'appropriating the word woman'.

🤣

Lordfrontpaw · 21/02/2020 14:43

Are they real - maybe?! Please!

jenthelibrarian · 21/02/2020 14:40

@Datun

I'm really pleased to see they are still there. I was worried that I'd drawn attention and they'd be taken away.
Can't think of a better place for them than the Science Museum.

Not stickers, postcards!

I can't help thinking how official they look, fitting right in.

Datun · 21/02/2020 14:16

A friend has just said the stickers are back. And right by the till! Apparently the gift shop is heaving, because it's half term. Well done that woman.

Puuuuulll

I was thinking of adding some text to one of those posters that says "A woman's place is in the resistance" so that underneath it says :"Please respect women's rights to safe spaces" and put the poster up in a M&S fitting room.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 11/02/2020 10:05

Ah OP, it's a shame you named which museum it was as they may have gone undetected for longer if you hadn't.

Now we know full well the Monitors will be straight onto the Sceince Museum to get them removed.

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 10/02/2020 22:38

Love it Grin

RaininSummer · 10/02/2020 22:36

Love this.

Al1Langdownthecleghole · 10/02/2020 21:47

Well done to whoever did this. Fabulous!

Lordfrontpaw · 10/02/2020 20:23

I seem to remember Cameron had one didn’t he (or am I imagining it). Kiss of death to any campaign...

ChattyLion · 10/02/2020 20:22

Grin I remember those T-shirts back in the day (weren't they a fundraiser for the Fawcett Society?). It was those that confirmed for me that men can only be feminist allies, not actually feminists. I haven’t been proved wrong since on that in my own personal experience.

The self congratulatory men I knew who wore ‘this is what a feminist looks like’ t shirts, werent anything I would recognise as feminist when it actually came down to it. They did like really like the idea of women being particularly nice to them because of the Tshirt they had on though. Hmm

While I really welcome male allies or supporters of feminists and feminist causes, I totally side eye men who say that they themselves are feminists.

Whoever left them is a Legend.
