The article is basically saying that under Sharia law in Pakistan it's legal for a man to abduct, forcible marry and rape a child if she menstruates, while her parents wishes and the wishes, safety and protection of the child are disregarded?

Horrific way to live, knowing that your female child is exposed and vulnerable to being abducted and raped if it becomes common knowledge she has begun menarche.

I taught a little girl with precocious puberty who started at 6. The youngest mother in history was, I believe, 7. Precocious puberty has become more common than ever in recent years.

So kids as young as 8/9 then

Just think of the life that girl will have. Her one precious life, wasted on the misery and abuse that man will heap on her. And to think that it isn't even illegal - it's fucking sickening. Honestly, every day I feel more convinced that the sooner humans are wiped off this planet the better. What a hateful species we are.
