Good article in Daily Telegraph today on the back of Girl A. Heartening to see how much exposure the whole gender debacle is now getting.

Good girl herself. More power to her. I'm thrilled how the above aibu post is showing such support for her

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/02/2020 21:59

Girl A for leader of the Labour Party.

If only!

Such a brave girl.

happydappy2 · 06/02/2020 21:58

Fully support this brave girl, sad that adults aren’t shielding her from this though.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 06/02/2020 21:58

YY Datun.

Datun · 06/02/2020 21:55

How can they 'utterly refute that it puts children at risk when mixed sex changing unequivocally increases risk to women and girls?

I'm glad they've said it, in black and white. I hope they're made to eat their words.

And what a brave girl.

PhonicTheHedgehog · 06/02/2020 21:41

Girl A for leader of the Labour Party.

iguanadonna · 06/02/2020 21:24

Brave girl. It shouldn't be children who are having to fight this madness

Tonz · 06/02/2020 20:44

Good luck Girl A and a massive thank you from me and my daughters

SciFiScream · 06/02/2020 20:41

more info on Safe Schools Alliance site:

"5th February 2020: Application for Judicial Review Filed

Safe Schools Alliance UK is supporting a landmark legal case against Oxfordshire County Council on the grounds that its use of the Trans Inclusion Toolkit for Schools 2019 is seriously flawed and poses a risk to children.

We are offering our support to a 13-year-old girl and her parents as she files a request for a Judicial Review against OCC on the basis the toolkit puts her at risk and does not respect her rights to privacy or dignity.

The claimant, a 13-year-old Oxfordshire girl who cannot be named for legal reasons said: “The toolkit has a very significant impact on me as a girl. I am very surprised that the council never asked the opinion of girls in Oxfordshire about what we thought before they published the toolkit. Under these guidelines I have no right to privacy from the opposite sex in changing rooms, loos or on residential trips. Sports could end up being unsafe as I am a really small teenage girl and boys are bigger than girls. This guidance could be used in any educational establishment in Oxfordshire, which possible includes sports clubs.”

“The guidance makes me feel that my desire for privacy, dignity, safety and respect is wrong. It makes me feel sad, powerless and confused. I recently did my level 1 safeguarding course for guider training and I don’t understand how allowing boys and girls to share private spaces is okay“. (continues)

ScifiScream, maybe Safe Schools Alliance will point you to more information about the case.

MyOwnSummer · 06/02/2020 20:27

Well done Girl A. Standing up for all kids who deserve privacy and dignity in school. My DC is too young for school yet but hopefully your case will set a precedent that all children can benefit from.

SciFiScream · 06/02/2020 20:25

How would I find the link to the crowdfunding f that's been deleted? I don't think searching girl a will find it?

Bloody well done girl A. You're wise beyond your years.

Al1Langdownthecleghole · 06/02/2020 20:24

Another legal challenge. Thank you girl A and good luck.

Redshoeblueshoe · 06/02/2020 20:14

I used to hate getting changed for PE, and I went to an all girls school.

Girl A - we support you Flowers

Atalune · 06/02/2020 20:09

Absolutely.

Let this be the start.

“Underpinned by the equality act”. What balls. That’s male sex balls btw.

Newuser123123 · 06/02/2020 20:05

Yes, I have shared and shown a little direct support x

thirdfiddle · 06/02/2020 19:54

Brave and articulate young woman to speak up what many girls must be feeling and shamed out of saying.

I vividly remember being her age and how horribly embarrassing it was to have to change in front of classmates. Having to accept male bodied classmates on their say so is just wrong. Let alone things like sleeping accommodation and sports.
