@DuLANGMondeFOREVER oh my didn't we just Grin

Always admired your style, especially in the 90's, iconic (dons shiny PVC trousers and stacked platforms)

SoldiersinPetticoats · 08/02/2020 14:35

Apologies if any offence was taken regarding the PIP for SH. I refered to it as it was mentioned in the case and it’s relevant to our discussion of SH. I also have personally involvement of disability benefits and understand how hard it it to prove the support needed for even obvious serious disabilities.

We’ve spoken many times on here about free speech and whilst I appreciate some may be uncomfortable with us discussing SH’s disability payments, it is relevant and it’s been mentioned in court. It is a valid discussion topic and I don’t think we should stop people discussing it as that too is bad form.

DuLANGMondeFOREVER · 08/02/2020 14:10

Also, I have a spent conviction from when I was 15/16 I think, never tried as an adult! The 90's were interesting for me

Ah, the 90s.

We had a blast, didn’t we? Grin

City, point taken and I apologise. Please know that I was talking about this particular and specific individual though. If it's needed, it should be accessible and there should be more of it IMO.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/02/2020 14:01

(I also think it's a risk of derailing the thread!)

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/02/2020 13:59

Can we stop with the PIP please? As Spartacus said, it is not pleasant for disabled people to read - I receive PIP and have working memory problems due to brain issues (which is not what I receive the PIP for ironically) the memory comments here are quite upsetting.

We are talking about someone who served 6 months for deception-I think its relevant. They know how to play the system to their advantage. (& seem to think they are untouchable)

Twitter was a public forum and any tweet could be seen by anyone (e.g. by retweeting)

This came up in Harry's case too: if you go looking online for messages (or hear third hand that such a message was written) that you find offensive, should this be treated the same as if someone had intentionally sent that message directly to you with the intent of offending you? Do you have a right not to be offended by anything you can find online even if you go looking for it?

Kate Flowers what better can you wish any woman that she has a bunch of fierce women in the gallery for her when needed?

The barrister did, however, make much of the fact that Kate had blocked Hayden on Twitter and said that Hayden must have known this, at one point saying that Hayden was at risk of committing perjury when Hayden denied it. I think this is because the emphasis in the Malicious Communications Act is on deliberately targeting and harassing someone - hard to say this is happening if the supposedly harassing party had blocked the other party. Hayden's argument was that Twitter was a public forum and any tweet could be seen by anyone (e.g. by retweeting).

So Scottow wasn't even tweeting at Hayden? Scottow had blocked Hayden, but Hayden was still obsessively seeking out Scottows tweets so that Hayden could take offence?

BustedWench · 08/02/2020 13:24

My dad was a vicar growing up, I'll say no more 😂

ItsLateHumpty · 08/02/2020 13:13

Busted I'd maybe have a spent conviction, but I never got caught Wink

We all hope you win in court, but even if you dont, you're not the looser here.

Joisanofthedales · 08/02/2020 13:09

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/02/2020 13:05

PS I'm also banned from Twitter. It took about a week Wink

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/02/2020 13:05

Busted I think you have been extremely brave and I sincerely hope it goes well for you. You have done an amazing thing at least in putting SH's behaviour and convictions into the public domain and showing them up for who they are.

I hope you can take comfort in the fact that by SH's own actions, they have made life harder for themselves, which serves them right for trying to fuck you over

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 08/02/2020 12:59

I don't think it's on to speculate about someone's PIP award. Bad form.

Pointing out someone's criminal convictions already in the public domain though, and judging them as a total cunt based on their behaviour, is Good. Grin

BustedWench · 08/02/2020 12:58

Thank you for the support, all the well wishes have held me up.

I had my first account for 10 years, was targeted and banned after the story in the MoS was released.

HampsonAlice was set up to circumvent the block lists my original BustedWench account was on, I understand many have done the same.

The third account was set up due to the BustedWench one being banned. No more to it really, realise it appears bad but I never intended to be anonymous or I wouldn't post my cute doggy pictures

Again I appreciate all the support I've received, it means so much, and I can never really put into words how seeing so much support and the superb fierce women in the gallery helped me when I took the stand.

Also, I have a spent conviction from when I was 15/16 I think, never tried as an adult! The 90's were interesting for me Grin

GenderCriticalFeminist · 08/02/2020 12:41

Thanks, Spartacus - my mistake. That's a relief.

ArranUpsideDown · 08/02/2020 12:37

They seem to be quite capable of travelling independently

It's feasible that the PIP award is being used well - and is spent on useful software or appropriate personal assistance that makes full participation in work, social, and civic life feasible.
