It currently can only be accessed via a password-protected account and it's only available for schools and teachers. However, some who have seen it have been horrified by it and leaked it.

Among many other things, it states:

  • girls have no right to single-sex toilets and do not even have the right to express their discomfort about this.
  • lesbian girls who 'reject' biological males who identify as girls are committing a hate crime if the rejection is due to their 'perceived trans identity', and it calls on pupils to inform on each other when this happens (it doesn't define what 'rejection' means)
  • it seems to follow on from recent guidance that if a girl has a problem with a naked biological male in a changing room, it's up to the girl to find somewhere else to get changed

many of us here could see this coming a million miles off.

my heart aches for all the young people who stand to be damaged by the decisions made by a group of adults either too thick or too invested in a particular agenda to think of the genuine needs (not wants) of all of the children - be they female, gender non conforming, trans identified or not.

Goosefoot that was my child at nursery - always left out of class invites. Of course, I demanded all the other 3/4 year olds were reported to the police for committing a hate crime.

(Actually, I spoke to the nursery about helping my child develop their social skills)

Blimey - so it's actually a guide on how to bully lesbians?

Seems an awful lot could he solved by just saying "no" to a child sometimes...

Reminding them that they aren't the only person on the planet that actions have consequences.

Why is the burden of maintaining a false reality falling to everyone else as opposed to the parents of the individual involved dealing with a situation.

I've read one that's been linked to on another thread and honestly I'm horrified . It doesn't appear to matter what the kids do because if someone else decides an incident is hateful then that's it.

This may seem kind of unimportant, but what this really makes me think of is when my eldest daughter was just school age, about 10 years ago, there was a move here in schools to say that children who had birthday parties had to invite the whole class. Because otherwise, it would indicate preferences and leave some kids out, and they might be kids who were marginalised or bullied etc.

This ended up going by the wayside because it was so impractical, but there were a heck of a lot of parents who agreed with it in principle.

This is the same guidance which is being discussed on this thread: New Year New Judicial Review? CPS Hate Crime Guidance for schools www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3804613-New-Year-New-Judicial-Review-CPS-Hate-Crime-Guidance-for-schools

All loads will take from it is let everyone walk all over me and out up with everything and anything cos otherwise they will think I'm homophobic/ transphobic.

If you are going to tell people that rejection or refusal to work with anyone because of their sexuality or identity or perceived sexuality or identity is a hate crime then at least define what you mean by rejection because otherwise that's just well...

I don't think anyone is aware yet - AFAIU this only came to light yesterday

I challenged the school, to no avail.

Head thinks Stonewall is a reputable organisation and cannot seem to distinguish between sexuality and gender ID.
He refuses to acknowledge Transgender Trend due to the negative press regarding those bloody stickers (thanks Schools Week).

It's a secondary school - we were new to the area and don't know many parents.

I'm contacting the chair of governors next.

@HandsOff

My DDs’ school isn’t Stonewall indoctrinated - luckily. Am vigilant... and the school knows I am aware of the issues.

What is the response of the other parents / children to the teaching?

Has any parent /child challenged the school / local authority re appropriateness/legality/equality provision? This is suggested by the safe schools alliance who have resources about this:

My son's school is a Stonewall Champion and I am already find its Stonewall teaching material sexist, regressive, homophobic and factually incorrect.

This takes that to a whole new level of disturbing.

I hope this will be challenged, but in the meantime this sends a chilling message to young girls - male rights rule and you will be punished for asserting female rights.

Utterly terrifying.

Aesopfable · 27/01/2020 12:53

Once again a document that makes it clear that transwomen are NOT women.
