Let's try again, then, in the spirit, and all that.

So at the start of 2020 let's remember our [edited] 'things that some women may be concerned about' from the end of the last decade and hope that this will be the year that everyone sees through the madness.

[also edited] THINGS WOMEN MIGHT BE A BIT CONCERNED ABOUT -

I stand with Maya and Jk Rowling
Jessica Yaniv and the waving of her female scrotum
Unisex changing rooms
Get the L out (Lesbians out of Pride)
Cotton ceiling
Trans women saying theyve had FGM when they were a circumcised male
Flowery Language - people who menstrate, people with cervixes, chest feeding
Woman of the year going to Trans woman
Womens roles/jobs being taken over/reduced ie womans equality officer, now run by a trans woman
Male rapists being placed in female jails
My body is me preschool book being "transphobic"
Googling women killed and the answers being transwomen not women death statistics
Girl guide ruling that states if a girl is unhappy sleeping near a girl with a penis that they need re-educating
Lady dique- women with penis
Being labelled a Cis Woman when Transwomen refuse to be called a Trans Woman
A newspaper appeal for a violent rapist that didnt want to misgender so asked to " find the woman who may be dressed as a man and have male and female identities"
Martina Navratilova being criticised for opposing transgender athletes entering womens sports.
Mermaids
Germaine Greer being no platformed
Monroe Bergdorf telling women at the women’s march not to talk about their reproductive systems cause its exclusionary.
The vagina monologues no longer using the word vagina
Unisex toilets at a risk of losing womens toilets not mens
Pippa Bunce being 1 of the top 50 women in finance despite only being a female a couple of days a week
Jenny Murrays article and telhe outrage surrounding it
Events being shut down for daring to talk about womens rights
Hampstead Ladies Pond
Teen Vogue

As per previous poster, on the thread that must not be named, due to 'high mountains and stuff' , sympathy is for transsexuals, and confused teenage girls who want to be boys, and gender non-confirming children. I wish them, as I do for everyone a safe existence and a right to be who they are. Whilst also retaining women's rights, freedom of speech, and protecting children. How can these things be framed as 'anti trans'?

Aw, come on Newuser, be kind (in the spirit!) - she did answer, she said a woman is “complicated”! She’s not a medical professional you know Crown Confused

Newuser123123 · 06/01/2020 07:51

The leader of a major political party was unable to tell me what a woman is

Ameanstreakamilewide · 06/01/2020 07:51

Oh bloody hell...i was just looking for that thread.

I'm expecting this thread to be deleted too, in that case.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 06/01/2020 07:31

One thing I am "concerned" about is the way everyone feels obliged to say they believe everyone has a right a safe, hassle-free life etc. It really makes me angry that you feel compelled to state the shitting obvious. You know your morals already, you don't need to announce them like a fucking train station.

I don't go into meetings at work and say "before we get started, I want to say that I am fully behind everybody's right to speak up and support the right of everyone to have an opinion"

For fuck's sake. Stop apologising and caveating and say what you want to say. So the fuck what if some agenda-driven idiot tries to spin your comment into something it blatantly isn't. We are all old enough and ugly enough to recognise such pathetic derailing when it occurs. Those fools will twist whatever you say anyway, so why give them the time of day by pandering to people whose sole aim is to misquote you anyway.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 06/01/2020 07:06

the spirit = suck it up women and don't you dare rock the fucking boat

Chocolatemice · 06/01/2020 06:31

I would love to know what this mythical spirit of things is.

Chocolatemice · 06/01/2020 06:29

As much as it takes for even the ‘kindest’ of women to realise that we are being screwed over.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 06/01/2020 04:26

I was all, wait, wasn't it a tampon that Yaniv was waving (at Blair White, though I don't recall if it was before or after waving the stun gun)...

My primary concern at this point is the question of how much harm women are to be expected to absorb in the name of kindness.

MustardScreams · 06/01/2020 00:50

As a very recent peaked woman I salute you.

And this scares the living fuck out of me.

Ereshkigal · 06/01/2020 00:21

It is Grin

ScapaFlo · 06/01/2020 00:11

I'm sure it was supposed to be 'waxing' but 'waving' is a most excellent typo Grin

Cwenthryth · 05/01/2020 23:43

Yaniv then went on to cry transphobia that a gynaecologist was unable to provide services for their female penis and scrotum, as well. You couldn’t make this stuff up.

A highlight of 2019 for me was the cyclist formerly known as RM ‘virtually’ dancing on the grave of a remarkable young woman who had just died of brain cancer, because she had different views than RM. That was truly stunning, and not at all brave.

ScapaFlo · 05/01/2020 23:29

Still find Yaniv waving her scrotum chortle-inducing Grin

OhHolyJesus · 05/01/2020 22:22

Thanks for reposting OP, I have cut and paste and it's a useful list.

I agree. Not sure what else to say. Just hope this gets to stay. I keep finding new deeps or rather new ..."ain't no mountain high enough" apexes/pinnacle/zenith.
