Great British Intelligence Test

By the BBC

After you do the quiz it asks loads of demographic questions before giving you your result. One of the questions is ‘what is your sex? Male/female’

I noticed this a few times - when dealing with actual science even the bbc occasionally manages to recognise that sex is important/relevant.

It offers 'other' now

Well, there’s your intelligence test right there...

Male. Tick
Female. Tick
Other. Whoops! Something has gone wrong with your understanding of reality!!

I'm really embarrassingly shite at this game. How do the bleepy blocks even work?

[misses the point entirely]

I was looking forward to getting to the male/female question, too! But am giving up in disgust going to try again when a bit less tired.

Oh. I didn’t. Wonder if the bbc stasi noticed that unapproved language had slipped in and set Winston to work?

I got "other" as an option too.

And now people have started to notice the difference
... between sex and gender.

WrathoFaeKlop · 01/01/2020 21:28

The BBC has provided a question with two just possible answers, female or male.

Not a difficult question.
Not a complex question.
Not even an exclusively science question.

Just facts.

And now people have started to notice the difference.
