Jesus, is there no depths of utter shite that these men will sink to in order to excuse their disgusting behaviour.

A cry for help indeed - DFOD.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 20/12/2019 15:25

Fucking hell you lot are nasty, raging Debtists!

Even StepChange know that Open Air Wanking reduces debts. You get extra debt relief for having an audience.

Such nasty bitches. How do I report you all for Debtism?

[That and I wonder how his female counsel felt having to spout such crap? I REALLY wouldn't have her job)

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 20/12/2019 15:15

Imagine what kind of low life uses his father’s death as an excuse for wanking and sexually harassing two females. What a scum bag. Funny, when I lost my husband and was still fighting for custody if my youngest, I never went out and shoved my hand down my knickers to have a good wank, while intimidating men. Considering how many distressed women who come on here, I’m surprised the jails aren’t full of female perverts.

traceyracer · 20/12/2019 15:09

Come on, he was having a hard time and was in debt from gambling problems so let the poor man have a wank by scaring women.

/sarcasm

deydododatdodontdeydo · 20/12/2019 12:00

Tbf, that was his defense, not what the judge said.

It wasn't even defence, it was mitigation, after conviction.
Like when drink drivers are convicted, their defence always states something like "they were suffering a lot of stress" in mitigation.
I don't see a problem with it, it's not like it affected the outcome.

Redcrayons · 20/12/2019 11:46

We've had almost the same thing just happen locally. A man followed a young woman with her child. Person not caught yet, but must have been terrifying.
Funny that he didn't feel the need to 'cry for help' to a bunch of burly rugby players. Nah, just terrify the fuck out of women.

And I remember the days of 'just point and laugh and run away'. Glad it's taken more seriously mow.

powershowerforanhour · 20/12/2019 11:38

Great impact statement by the target.

Also
Shipperley, who admitted intentionally exposing his genitals intending that someone would be caused alarm or distress,

Good to see that the motive has been clearly stated. Not a bit of a laugh/a little bit naughty or even primarily sexual. But pure intimidation. He had tough times and the response was not a cry for help but lashing out. No, not even lashing out- that suggests an unconsidered wild flail of behaviour in any direction that could have landed on his boss, a random large angry looking bloke, the TV screen in an empty room.
Not crying for help, not lashing out but punching down. Carefully selecting a victim to humiliate and frighten. A victim in charge of a small child for extra shock value and so that she would not be able to get away as quickly, or feel as confident about dodging physical violence if he got out of the van and came towards her, or drove it at her (those are not hysterical fears- those do things happen). Deliberately selecting a female victim and wanking as his method because he is a woman hater. Following her after to hammer home the power advantage he exerted over her, to stoke the fear he deliberately ignited in her.
What a piece of shit.

daffodilrosedaisy · 19/12/2019 23:10

Seething. Who gives a !? if he’s had personal problems like his father dying? Literally SO unrelated. I can’t believe they’d even write the article like that.

Fouroutoffour · 19/12/2019 23:03

No SEN that I'm aware of, definitely no ASD. One of them just behaved really badly towards all women (I completely lost my shit with him over that one day and had several colleagues thank me for itBlush) and with the other I think there might be safeguarding issues, but I don't know for sure. Both year 9 boys, so 13/14. It really worries me what they're watching online to even entertain the thought of wanking in public. Doesn't bode well for the future...Sad

NeurotrashWarrior · 18/12/2019 21:06

Wow four. And no Sen? I've had that with children/ teens on the spectrum.

I see nakedness as a bit different as the art world is blooming full of it and also I studied anatomy and life drawing. I'd never seen the naked rambler like that. However I can see how some would find that nasty.

I've been horribly flashed at, including in Paris at the metro. I thought he was trying to look at the map as we were but he was wanking off right next to us and looking at our our reaction. Fucking horrid.

Fouroutoffour · 18/12/2019 20:41

I'm a secondary teacher at a pretty decent school. In the past year, two boys have been caught masturbating in a lesson. So messed up...

Don't want to get in a row but I see nudity in general as very different to sexual aggression.

Redshoeblueshoe · 18/12/2019 19:37

I can't believe his solicitor said everything came to a crescendo on the day in question
Was she deliberately taking the piss ?

Neil Shipperley, 45, expressed remorse in court. Oh, I bet he did. I also bet he’s even more remorseful now the BBC has published his photo.

I’m quite old and had some dirty pervert masturbate in front of me in the street quite recently. I didn’t point and laugh, I was shocked and frightened. Very likely precisely the reaction the bastard wanted.

Fraggling · 18/12/2019 19:29

Personally I put naked rambler in way different category, but understand others may not.

was thinking of that naked rambler man. Remember him?

Yes. Attention seeking plonker who couldn't wait to be rearrested for more publicity.

I was taught to point and laugh, but also to avoid as sex offending escalates.

Was also taught to avoid cross dressers for the same reason. My mother, aunts and grandmothers may not have known the term autogynephilia but they knew the behaviour.

SophoclesTheFox · 18/12/2019 19:13

disingenuous, self serving bollocks, which is exactly what you’d expect from someone so tragic and pathetic their idea of comforting themself is by scaring girls and women.

Creep.

They do usually give a nod to the defence to be fair.

In this case he was found guilty so makes him sound like a whining git?

It makes me more angry when during the case esp when a woman is murdered they put the defence as what sounds like an unqualified headline.

I'm also pleased he got done. Doesn't happen much for this crime.
