Has EM been called a TERF yet at all for the Tavi interview?

Oh, how disappointing. Sarah Wollaston is usually very good in other areas.

I assume she is reciting the script she's been told to, but yes, disappointing for a doctor to not understand this better.

Second time today for the Lib Dem on this, managed to regurgitate the same rubbish while completely ignoring actual women. Emily Maitliss not quite as incisive as in the interview with the psychiatrist from the Tavi the other day but did well bringing it back to women. How can the good doctor not know that very few of these born in the wrong body types actually change anything, and that even if they did , it would still not mean they magically become women. I would have voted for Lib Dem’s on Brexit issue but no way because of this.

I did have to laugh at Sarah trying to say that self declaration is perfectly okay and nothing to worry about but in the next breath that anyone who looks male would obviously make women uncomfortable in an intimate setting.

Sarah, you can't square that circle no matter how much you bluster.

Her failure to understand that the whole point of self ID is that nobody has to "fully transition" was just pathetic. She clearly knows nothing about what we are dealing with here.

When is someone going to address how suggesting someone is born in the wrong body is feeding dysphoria in a whole where body image is a huge deal due to distorted ideas self image coming from social media usage?

When is someone going to challenge the Lib Dems (and Stonewall) about how the Stonewall definition of homosexual being based on gender identity is intrinsically homophobic?

The Lib Dems were handed an opportunity on a plate to address women's concerns, and they sent Dr Sarah Wollaston to drone on about 'born in the wrong body'?
She talked about men who 'haven't yet fully physically transitioned'. Does she think that trans means genital surgery? How quaint.
She is going to have a hell of a shock when she realises what the trans umbrella encompasses.
