Very pro the "woke" agenda and trans womens rights, whilst coercing indigenous females into having sterilisation

I'm properly shocked by this article. How can a civilised country even countenance this?

I think forcing women into sterilisation is a women's rights issue. This appears also to be a racist issue.

Therefore this is a crossintersectional feminist post of type that is said not to exist on FWR

OP was adding further useful context , that Canadian society hasn't got a great record on women's right, that might not be totally helpful given the way people leap onto anything trans related , but please focus on the problem not the background unless it helps provide a relevent point.

That is properly horrifying, so recent as well.

Forgive my ignorance but is it out and out racism which is behind the push to sterilise these women?

Good question. Is it only them or was it any woman and a lawyer is only taking up the indigenous women's cases because it's easier to win a case of anti-racism than hate crimes against women? (like the immigrants Yaniv targeted winning on a religious basis, not as women) Tubes tied or sterilization? I'm confused by the terminology--it says they were misled it was reversible, which a tubal ligation is?

The country didn't countenance this, and it's set up a Truth and Reconciliation committee. What this has to do with trans rights I have no idea, but of course everything on the feminist board has to be trans bashing right?
