Baby radfem here Smile I was part of a radfem group before I moved to Nottingham and I've been searching for radfems here since September but haven't had any luck Sad Can anyone point me in the right direction?

(I was going to pm the For Women Notts Twitter but then I got banned from Twitter for calling Aimee Challenor a man, as you do)

I'm not far from Notts - out in the sticks but more than happy to travel to the big city!

SIL is also near Notts - I've been slowly radicalising her, although she's not braved the MN portal yet!

Yep south Notts here. I've looked for groups too but not seen anything. I'm in the feminist friends fb group but not keen on it to be honest. Let me know if you set anything up 😁

Good luck Brian. Grassroot groups are utterly fab. And they’re growing. Solidarity and success!

I'm in a town between Derby and Notts and would love to hear of any gatherings nearby - I was looking for rad fem groups in the east mids but couldn't find

Ok ! If you or any other radfems are in Nottingham maybe we could grab a coffee sometime?

I'll check it out with my chum and see if we can set something up...

BrianFuckingMay · 19/11/2019 13:14

@MrsSnippyPants No I haven't. Would that be worth doing do you think?

@woopdedoodle Hey Smile

@APerkyPumpkin Ok ! If you or any other radfems are in Nottingham maybe we could grab a coffee sometime? Or alternatively if you guys have any meetings coming up I could catch the bus to Derby? (Ahaha obviously I understand the risks of meeting random strangers from the internet but obvs I'd add you on Fb or something first just to verify that I'm not some catfish TRA or something)

It's a shame Derby is so far from me

That's ok, I do! I pop over regularly.

woopdedoodle · 19/11/2019 12:14

Waving from Derby too.

A relatively new arrival in the city, I've been eyeing up local groups to get to know people but haven't taken the plunge yet. ,

MrsSnippyPants · 19/11/2019 11:58

Have you contacted resistersunited.org/ OP?

BrianFuckingMay · 19/11/2019 11:47

@APerkyPumpkin Thank you so much! Ugh that sounds irritating, but I'll check the group out and do a little snooping. If I find any radfems in it I'll let you know Smile

It's a shame Derby is so far from me :( I don't have a car so it's quite a long way, but it's still nice to hear that there's radfems somewhat nearby

There are a few of us Derby way...There is a Nottingham Feminist Friends Facebook groups and every time anyone posts anything there is an influx of 'I hope you mean all women'...and then the organiser has to explain what they mean by women yada yada yada.

Not sure if there is a rad fem group - if there is I've not found it yet, but you might find some in the above group who are rad fems. If you find one please let me know.
