Any radfems in Notts?

Baby radfem here Smile I was part of a radfem group before I moved to Nottingham and I've been searching for radfems here since September but haven't had any luck Sad Can anyone point me in the right direction?

(I was going to pm the For Women Notts Twitter but then I got banned from Twitter for calling Aimee Challenor a man, as you do)

Hey :) Op here (Different username as I had to close my original account) There is a Resisters branch in Notts and I did manage to get in contact with them, but due to covid and other factors I only managed to meet up with them once, and haven't heard anything since.

Still, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be worth trying to contact them anyway. Hopefully this helps!

I just checked. It's Rad fems of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester (East Midlands) and it's private but should be visible.

Is that on Facebook?? Can't see it. Is it a hidden group.

My dp does agree with sports, prisons but doesn't see it as a big issue, that it is. Thinks I'm in a twitter echo chamber and it's not happening IRL. Hates when I bring it up as conversation, as in did you see this today ...

Another female friend who I was turning then spoke to a friend who worked for a (trans??) charity and is now of the opinion it's less harmful to allow children to stop puberty than to reverse the changes it causes!!! And I'm just seeing the bad!!

Norm here. No groups that I know of. Lots of women's places seem to be woke - like women's aid and the women's safety night, allowed for self Id women to be part of it.

I need an Avenue to explore this with, dp and friends male and female just don't get the issue.

Heya ! Honestly I completely understand what you mean about them being heaven for the woke. I had to listen to and make notes from someone talking about the travesty of "cisgender male actors playing transgender women in film" today for half an hour, and I thought I was going to cry of frustration. Spaces that are meant to be feminist or LGB friendly are completely hostile. It's ridiculous and pretty isolating tbh. You have no idea who you can talk to or who you can trust, it's like a horror film Sad

I understand that we all have to be careful about our identities and such (especially for you since your job is on the line) but I'd love to know if we're at the same place. Maybe pm me sometime? x Smile

Hi Brian, I work in one of 'those places' in Notts, I wonder if it's the same one... Am very keen on meeting like minded women in real life. Work is heaven for the woke and resistance feels futile.

@SaltyColin Hey! Smile A coffee and a chat would be great! And ahahaha yes, a baby radfem who moved to Nottingham in September... I think you can definitely guess what sort of place I'm in. Glad to hear you're in a somewhat similar one, it makes me feel slightly less like the lone radfem here xx
