FFS.

"Block and delete" the modern-day Scold's Bridle.

I thought it was a really good, nuanced and respectful interview. Thanks for doing it, Konstantin.

You peaked yet?

ResistSexism · 19/11/2019 16:40

Yes @Triggerpod please do have a dig around on Feminism Chat whilst you're here. The silencing of women on trans issues is well documented. Over and over again.

You did a good job as neutral interviewers. It was a calm and nuanced conversation.

Gone2far · 19/11/2019 16:13

triggerpod thanks for doing the interview. I'm deeply disappointed at what has happened, and am started to feel like we're living in a mad society.

BarbaraStrozzi · 19/11/2019 16:09

@Triggerpod while you're here, if you have time check out the Maya Foster threads and the Caroline Farrow ESTA thread.

Clymene · 19/11/2019 16:01

The trailers still up

OhHolyJesus · 19/11/2019 15:57

@Triggerpod Sadly I was TERFblocked on Twitter and came off over a year ago. The silencing of women on social media has been going on for some time, I will spread the word on FB which is the only mainstream platform I have access to.

Triggerpod · 19/11/2019 15:50

@BarbaraStrozzi Don't worry, this is going to go big. We may or may not agree with everything Posie said but she has a right to say it and we're going to make sure this story doesn't get buried.

BarbaraStrozzi · 19/11/2019 15:49

@Triggerpod

I was about to ask just that - I started following your podcasts a few months back after your article on being demonetised (loved the one on Brexit with John Curtice) btw. Any chance they'd be interested in a follow up piece?

Triggerpod · 19/11/2019 15:44

@ohholyjesus You can spread the word on Twitter and Facebook (@triggerpod) - we tweeted about it.

We're working to get the story into the mainstream media so any help on that front is welcome as well.

Waterl00 · 19/11/2019 15:38

Perhaps you get the point now Konstantin.

I watched it last night and was amused at you both saying how much you liked being men, more money and less emotional was your jokey characterisation.

Less emotional?

The men that wanted this closed down are so emotional they can't bear for another opinion to exist in public.

They are so emotional they can only react with violence and threats.

They are so emotional they cannot control their anger.

So who is the less emotional here Konstantin?

AnyFucker · 19/11/2019 15:29

No surprises there. Women are being made to shut the fuck up all over the place.

What do you think about that decision, Konstantin. Have you had a knock by the local constabulary yet ?

OhHolyJesus · 19/11/2019 15:15

What the actual fuck is going on?

@Triggerpod Hi Konstantin, are you going to fight this? What can we do?

Whatsnewpussyhat · 19/11/2019 15:08

Fucking ridiculous. Not surprised though unfortunately. The TRA's would've been mass reporting.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 19/11/2019 14:56

What?! That is outrageous.

Triggerpod · 19/11/2019 14:55

Hi all,

Konstantin here from TRIGGERnometry.

Thank you for watching the interview and the feedback. You might like to know that YouTube have now deleted this interview as "hate speech".

Welcome to 2019.

Contrary to what was predicted up thread☺️👍

She done good

ZuttZeVootEeeVro · 18/11/2019 17:52

At 40 mins, the brain question...!

I think the look on their faces when questioned about the female brain was good. As with a lot of people they can get behind the idea of male and female brains without thinking too deeply, when asked what exactly they mean, they don't know what to say.

I think this is how tra theories (wrong body, sex is a spectrum) have taken hold. They sound sort of reasonable, with a smattering of science words, that can seem believable at first glance. But very difficult to explain in your words, or justified under any sort of scrutiny.

CranberriesChoccy · 18/11/2019 16:08

When the guy on the right asked if she would accept a separate category for trans-athletes, I felt it was a disingenuous question anyway because people like McKinnon would reject that. Are trans athletes asking for that? I think it would be a possible solution but they'd just say it was excluding them, transphobic, blah blah.

DuMondeB · 18/11/2019 15:47

Coyoacan · 18/11/2019 15:08

I always find it interesting when people say this. I see more superwoke women than men

I wonder if it is the same principle that has made colonised people throughout the ages emulate the colonists.

NeurotrashWarrior · 18/11/2019 14:58

And I thought the interview questions were great; clear around their research and also the fact they didn't fully agree mean for more rigorous questioning, which she handled brilliantly!

Hellmistress · 18/11/2019 14:58

I think many women are the same: trans people are few so I'll probably never meet one. And I'm not likely to need a DV refuge or rape support, and I'll NEVER find myself in a prison, so this is only going to affect a small minority of other women, but who cares, I feel good because I'm so woke

NeurotrashWarrior · 18/11/2019 14:57

Brilliant, esp the last 5 mins.

The only other thing I wanted her to say was along the lines of what Barracker wrote about how pronouns are Rohypnal to emphasis that point.

Goosefoot · 18/11/2019 13:48

Men can be superwoke because it really doesn't affect their lives.

I always find it interesting when people say this. I see more superwoke women than men, particularly on trans stuff. I've tended to think its because men are often very aware of their greater size and strength even when many women aren't, but that's just a guess really.
