Marks and Spencer have fallen, part III; we’re gonna need a bigger boat

I’ve got got some bras from Sainsbury’s which are very good. But no big store near me so had to order to store and took longer but around half price of Marks. Still looking for some super soft socks though.

Me! Nearly broke out of hunger the other day but was saved by a Greggs vegan sausage roll.

This school holidays I need new uniform for one DD and new bras for other DD. Would normally go straight to M&S but not now.
Would also get Xmas gifts from there too.

Just checking in with who’s managed to avoid Marks since this thread?

I had forgotten that I had a credit card with M&S. I found a statement whilst clearing up (not something that happens often) and phoned them today to close the account. It is already costing them, as there was a not insubstantial credit balance on it, which they are sending to my bank account.

When I was asked if there was anything else they could help with I requested that my reasons, already discussed, be made known to the managers. I was met with a ‘oh yes, don’t worry, we are collating them all and sending them as a spreadsheet, showing the reasons’. Now that sounds to me like there may have been many women who have done similar, and that they are keeping an eye on this (dare I use the word) exodus!

You're right Akire they often feel the need to mention their wife or girlfriend too. And yes, disrespectful is exactly right.

There seems to be a lot more reviews where men are making sure To include they are males just in case you missed it in the funny name and sex given above review. if Marks are so proud of these harmless reviews maybe they should display them in the windows next to their fancy knickers?

It really feels disrespectful dosnt it. I can’t think of similar thing were men wouldn’t be turned on by the opposite.

@Akire I've reported so many as inappropriate, I can't recall which ones. I'm certain some of them were on this page though and they're still standing. And look at the number of thumbs down on them now!

@ StandUpStraight - same here with JL - I wrote and asked what their policy was and the basically told me to ‘do one’ and that that was their last word. I did go back and ask - since this issue was causing some distress - but no response so they don’t really care.

Where do I get bloody school shirts from now? (Last not from here and M&S were pretty crap anyway so I was looking for alternatives).

I was going order some bras From TU Sainsbury’s but password was having day off. But today it’s 25% so worth having look at pants as well!

I am going to save so much money. No M&S and now no John Lewis or Waitrose. I have written to both to explain why. JL confirmed that “as an inclusive business” they encourage people to use the changing rooms they “feel comfortable in”. I wrote back to point out that they are inviting in men who get a kick out of making women uncomfortable or are indulging a sexual fetish, creating the conditions for women and girls to come to harm on their premises, and then asking their employees to police it. Utter idiots.
