Fresh thread in case part 2 fills up overnight.
I am yet to receive a reply to my third email, have been furiously tweeting, and as am now pursuing the options available to me as a shareholder.
Still crossing fingers for John Lewis!

This Percy piggy went to markies
This Percy piggy stayed at home
This Percy piggy wore women’s pants
This Percy piggy wore none
The last Percy piggy went wheeee wheeee wheeee in a cubicle next to you until he was empty.

Cute no?

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 21:35

I'm not suspicious at all.

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 14/11/2019 21:35

I get it now - it is exhausting but I am determined to keep chipping away. The alternative (letting it take over) is far worse.

I'm so thankful you and everyone else is / has been fighting this.

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/11/2019 21:35

It is exhausting. And depressing and demoralising. I had to have a break from it all a while ago and came off twitter forever, but am trying to do a bit every now and then.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 21:35

Mmm. The Percy Pig poster is either a NCer or very new. Only posted on 15 threads, starting a few days ago and says UANBU instead of the ubiquitous YANBU.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 21:33

It is genuinely exhausting, littlecabbage - I can't remember women's and children's rights being under such a sustained attack in my lifetime.

PocketDictionary · 14/11/2019 21:32

YourOpinion that is so funny. Someone must know some Percy puns.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 21:27

And Percy Pigs are not even that nice. They're just quite cute looking.

littlecabbage · 14/11/2019 21:27

Thanks YourOpinion and well done on the other thread. I had considered posting there also but have recently been told off for derailing another M&S love one!

Thanks zebra - I did try and do some work on the DBS thing, and have got so far with it, but need to do more work and struggling to find time at the mo. It requires me having a good few hours to wade through a load of paperwork, which I rarely get time for at the moment. But firing off an email here and there I can do. And avoiding shopping at M&S and Next of course Grin

I remember when I first started reading the feminist boards (about 18 months ago) and some regular posters were saying how tired they were of fighting this nonsense. I get it now - it is exhausting but I am determined to keep chipping away. The alternative (letting it take over) is far worse.

Akire · 14/11/2019 21:25

That thread Grin well least we are being noticed.

theflushedzebra · 14/11/2019 21:16

That's really good littlecabbage and I think I remember, you're a bit of a Star with this stuff - because you did loads of work on the DBS checks re. birth certificates and the GRC? That was god work even if they dd ignore you

I think every person in the country needs to know what autogynephilia is, and that it is going on on M&S & Next's website - and in calls in to the Samaritans - and gawd knows where else. And people should all listen to some of Ray Blanchard's talks before declaring mixed sex changing rooms, toilets and anything else. Because it's eye-popping stuff.

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/11/2019 21:15

Allowe to don my tin foil hat for a moment, but I think I've just killed s thread full of Mark's Suspenders PR bots.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3743782-to-be-addicted-to-percy-pigs

New posts every few minutes for about an hour all about the joys of Percy Pigs, helpfully mentioned new flavours, vegetarian ones, etc, and then radio silence once I posted about men in the changing rooms and penis-gusset interface. Hmm... Hmm

TheChampagneGalop · 14/11/2019 21:09

Were there staff around when he walked in SirVix?

YourOpinionIsNoted · 14/11/2019 21:03

Good reply, cabbage. Let us know if you get anything back.

littlecabbage · 14/11/2019 21:02

Thanks SirVix, will have a look.

Here is my reply to Next:

Thank you for your reply. I find it strange that you claim to be being “accommodating to as many customers as possible” whilst putting 52% of the population at risk of sexual offences (voyeurism, upskirting, flashing and assault), in order to appease a small percentage of customers who wish to enter the changing rooms of the opposite biological sex.

Tell me, how do you know whether a biological male genuinely believes the falsehood that he is a woman, or whether he is a pervert or paedophile? You cannot possibly know. The Equality Act 2010 exists to preserve single sex spaces for the safety and privacy of biological women. You are putting biological females at risk with this policy.

Did you know that the vast majority of self-titled “transwomen” still have a fully functioning penis, and that as a statistical group, “transwomen” commit sexual offences at the same rate as men?

Have you seen the huge numbers of reviews of women’s underwear by men (yes, they list their gender as male) on the M&S website, which are clearly written in the context of a sexual fetish? Even reviews of teenage training bras?

Next is either being extremely naive to think that this policy will not be exploited by autogynephiles, or there are men high up in Next management who are actively encouraging this.

Thank you for clarifying your position. You have lost my custom.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/11/2019 20:58

littlecabbage la redoute do some things in a slim fit , and their regular cut is slimmer than next or M&S . Or DPAM, another French brand.

SirVixofVixHall · 14/11/2019 20:52

Speaking to a friend earlier who was in the M&S on Oxford St a few weeks ago. She was in the women’s clothing dept and watched a man, (dressed in typical male clothing) walk into the Women’s changing room.

VinandVigour · 14/11/2019 20:51

I use Riverford box delivery for amazing organic veggies. Lots of different Box sizes and combinations available. My local team are fab, the loveliest people to deal with. I started after the Ocado debacle, and wouldn’t go back now, if Ocado paid me. I shall do the same with M&S, no surrender!

ImGenderfree · 14/11/2019 20:38

I used to buy a lot of food at M&S because it was convenient. I’m now doing an online shop for hard to get items, big shop every so often for household items and the farm shop (cheaper and better quality) for fresh food. I’m having to try alternatives and finding that I’m enjoying them and it’s cheaper. Rather than giving in I think the longer this goes on the less likely I am to ever shop there again.

boatyardblues · 14/11/2019 17:49

@YourOpinionIsNoted - you are spot on. They've got an algorithm thats says 'already wrote to that email address, take no further action'.

Doesn’t this fall foul of GDPR rules about transparency around using algorithms in a transparent way? Surely if they’re sending follow-up emails to the inbox shredder folder, they need to tell you that’s what they are doing?

Uncompromisingwoman · 14/11/2019 17:47

I've been impressed by Milk & More - doorstep milk delivery. They're offering organic fruit boxes, a great range of juices, bakery and an interesting range of special Christmas items - most (but not all ) organic, no plastic wrappings and delivered before 7.00 am - you can order up to 9.00 pm the day before. Well worth taking a look and encouraging me to cook from scratch again.

Thefatfeminist · 14/11/2019 17:46

I always bought my knickers from M&S Envy no more that's gross how can't they not see we don't want a bloke trying them on and wanking in the next cubicle with the door unlocked. Those reviews Shock even if they go through and remove I've seen them for myself now

littlecabbage · 14/11/2019 17:44

Great, thanks all.

PocketDictionary · 14/11/2019 17:30

H&M who do really good basic jogging trousers and leggings and jeans.

youllhavehadyourtea · 14/11/2019 17:29

Another thanks for the glutenfree lebkuchen link! ( it's in English for me)
