It really bloody rips my knitting when I read comments about genital preferences.

Being heterosexual or homosexual isn’t about genital preferences, it’s a SEXUAL preference.

As in the sex of people you are attracted to.

I know I’m probably preaching to the choir but it’s just another attempt to muddy the language.

And yes, the whole genital preference / genital fetish is such absurd, immature nonsense. I can't believe we've only recently achieved same sex marriage and the TRAs have now labelled sexual orientation as transphobic. WTF...

It's absolute nonsense of course OP, it's a sexuality not a 'genital preference', and not to derail but can I just say it's bisexual not pansexual. Sex is binary so pansexual is nonsense and you're not special because you use a different word.

It makes my blood boil. I see it a lot on Twitter and to me its no different to when I was a teenager and boys were always trying to push the girls boundaries. Its so clearly obvious but people who use it use it in such a condesending manner.

Usually the people being told to forget their 'genital preferences' are female bodied while the beneficiaries of them forgetting are male bodied.
