This is so infuriating. Do these people seriously think that all other women they encounter absolutely fucking love gender norms and happily hold up the patriarchy? This in this thread is literally exactly what I and other GC women have been arguing forever yet we are not allowed to make that argument because we don’t have our pronouns in our bio and aren’t friends with enough cool people. Jfc. FYI, NB people, we think the same. Except you get applauded for being brave and we get told to die in a grease fire.

For all the people at the back: I am a woman. I cannot identify out of that. Gendered norms are imposed on me. I wear what is comfortable, not what I think will attract men. I am read as a woman no matter what I wear. I don’t like it because I don’t think gender is good. Repeat ad nauseum.

There is nobody else like her on the planet & she is a miracle of science, nature and (IMO) a higher power we cannot contemplate or understand...

It seems that basically if they don’t like you or agree with what you say (and you happen to have a vagina), then you have to follow rigid rules about appearance and any deviation from that means that you are most definitely not NB or trans.

If however you spout woke bullshit about cis privilege, you can wear what you like and anyone who fails to recognise your they/them pronouns is a hateful bigot. Got it, thanks.

As for the ‘I sometimes wear a packer’ line. Yeah course you do, love. Why the fuck, when it is absolutely blatant that you are female, would you go round with a fake bulge in your pants? I doubt anyone who sees it would think it was a real penis. They probably just think you’re very weird. The penis is a body part, not some fricking fashion accessory.

I'm generally quite in favor of cleavage, before anyone gets sniffy at me, especially when it's a warm day, but I'm struggling to understand why anyone claiming not to be a woman would want theirs to be visible in their profile photo.

This is what I've been trying to articulate for ages now, but haven't managed to put nearly this pithily.

Women who say they are non binary are just today's take on the cool girl, with a side order of "do it to Julia."

Men who say they are non binary are just misogynistic wankers (there may be the occasional one trying to identify his way out of the fact that he got bullied to shit at school for being seen as effeminate and liking arty stuff instead of football but he's going to suffer the same fate as the "do it to Julia" women - he's going to discover you can't identify your way out of oppression). The woke misogynistic wankers unfortunately will discover being "trans" is teflon coating for their misogyny - but only because this form of TRA ideology is simply a form of men's rights activism, so they're still comfortably in the oppressor class even if they pretend to have identified out of it.
