I’m offering this without comment, mainly because my jaw is still on the floor.

Always copy in the complaints department as then the complaint will be recorded.

Gilly if your email to WCC children’s safeguarding was one of dissatisfaction then it should count as a complaint; you should then request any followup be dealt with at stage two of their complaints process. Whoever you complain to at WCC it still counts as a complaint to WCC

GillyWeasel · 07/10/2019 17:22

MP local to school is saying they can’t act for me as I am not a constituent. Will wait response from my MP
Have contacted WCC children’s safeguarding and Cllr Seccombe and head teacher has acknowledged email and will respond soon
If no joy then yes, I will make complaint

HandsOffMyRights · 07/10/2019 16:43

Monica Fogarty emailed one stock response (she clearly didn't read my complaint as she referred to All About Me rather than Respect Yourself).

I followed this up with her a week ago but have heard nothing back.

Dontgobacktorockville · 07/10/2019 16:19

Great Gilly, for pursuing.

Birdsfoottrefoil · 07/10/2019 09:59

Though if you have complained to the monitoring officer about legality then you might be able to go to the LGO straight away.

Birdsfoottrefoil · 07/10/2019 09:58

Then after that go to the Local Government Ombudsman

Birdsfoottrefoil · 07/10/2019 09:58

The Chief Exec would have delegated the complaint and then just signed the letter put in front of him. The person who generated the response could well be the person promoting the material. Write back, copying the complaints department asking for it to be escalated to their stage two complaints procedure.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 07/10/2019 09:06

Well done Gilly - and of course you got a generic response because if the Chief Executive actually addressed your questions they would have to acknowledge the truth that some porn sex acts are being presented positively to children on their watch.
So it will be deflect, deflect, deflect.

Cuntysnark · 07/10/2019 09:01

Well done Gilly.

GillyWeasel · 07/10/2019 08:39

Had response from chief executive of WCC

Obviously a stock response, it refers to ‘All about Me’ which is not what I referenced, it was Respect Yourself as this corresponds to the age of my child.
They are saying that ‘this piece of journalism is full of inaccuracies’ Never did I ask about any news stories, I simply linked to the website with the disturbing language. Is the evidence there in front of their eyes not accurate? Presuming I have been reading a news story and not been able to do my own research.
They take children’s safety very carefully and are reviewing All About Me and obviously wouldn’t endorse anything harmful to children.
Not good enough, will be replying.

OhHolyJesus · 04/10/2019 20:20

Well Gilly they're not the only ones - everyone from Debbie Hayton to the EHRC seems to think kids with gender dysphoria have more rights than those that don't.

I have explored this too much for my area as my child isn't in school yet but I'm very interested to hear how you get on. I think a number of parents are making inquiries so if enough difficult questions are asked hopefully common sense will return.

TruthOnTrial · 04/10/2019 18:59

Goodness me

gendered intelligence. Dangerous sexist speak, or simply more aesopian language.

Newuser123123 · 04/10/2019 18:49

Hi, I'd go to the local authority. I have emailed the portfolio holder for children's services, the children's safeguarding board and the communications team. I haven't heard anything back yet but they have a certain number of days to respond.
Let me know how you get on x

GillyWeasel · 04/10/2019 17:42

Thanks, holy Jesus, will get onto it.
Also noticed in the respect yourself ‘sextionary’
Under T, yes you guessed it, transgender definition links directly - for more information - to Gendered Intelligence. Their guidance then telling schools that ‘trans’ children should use bathroom/changing room facilities where they feel most comfortable Angry

OhHolyJesus · 04/10/2019 17:06

@GillyWeasel write to your MP and the MP for the area of the school. Contact the LEA and the Safeguarding officers in the councils.

Shout loud and don't take silence for an answer.

GillyWeasel · 04/10/2019 16:20

Newuser, I don’t live in Warwickshire but have a child a Warkwickshire school. I have emailed head teacher today to express my concern and to ask them to explain if they use this disturbing content within the school. Who else can i contact?

TruthOnTrial · 04/10/2019 12:18

I just posted the following on the toilet resisten

The fetish objects are not articles of clothing used in cross-dressing

That was an interesting statement in a linked article,
www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/sex-life-the-american-male/201403/unacknowledged-harm-masturbation

Discussed in terms of being a male disorder/s

Pedophilia – Sexual activity with a prepubescent child
Exhibitionism – Exposure of one’s genitals to an unsuspecting stranger
Frotteurism – Touching and rubbing against a nonconsenting person
Transvestic fetishism - Sexual arousal to cross-dressing
Coprophilia – Sexual excitement by being smeared with and/or ingesting feces
Necrophilia – Sexual excitement via sexual interaction with a corpse
Klismaphilia – Sexual excitement by being given an enema
Asphyxiophilia – Sexual excitement by self-strangulation

I have seen posters on MN make mentions of being able to touch women when they don't realise, in a gloaty way. These were also during threads where women were repeatedly stating the need for women only spaces.

I was shock and hmm at hearing it, and did think it pretty rapey speech, but hadn't realised it's actually a male paraphelia disorder.

It also makes reference to the sources of these fetishes as harmful childhoods. Damaged individuals who, as part of the disorder, are extremely adept at keeping their paraphelias covert, often with noone else in their life knowing about them.

Stands to reason there will be more of them than acknowledged numbers that have sought help, as help being rarely sort is part of the disorder also.

Sadly I think the anal sex section is about reducing pregnancy

I feel like a naive idiot after reading the above comment, of course that is what this is about. Well done to Mummyoflittledragon you have been able to see the true objective here.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 03/10/2019 20:50

I haven't read the whole guide and glossary of terms, but I was concerned that I never read anything about condoms in any of it.

In fact, felching (boak) obviously requires not using one... that would have been a very sensible time to mention them.

I half expected it to say sucking it out might reduce the risk of pregnancy.

I'd have been terrified to learn about these practices as an early teen.

Ifonlyus · 03/10/2019 12:37

I dunno. I just think it's very sad that there is a contingent of teens so jaded by sex that this kind of thing is on their radar.
This type of stuff used to be marketed to middle aged couples to spice up a long marriage - not kids who you would expect to be thrilled and excited by explorations into snogging and fumbling

Great point. Absolutely. The people behind this don't know young people at all. Yes, there are systemaric reviews about SRE which shows some young people have asked for more detail about sex and how to do it but this does not in any way equate to them asking or expecting to be given graphic depictions of hard-core pornographic acts. Only a porn-sick individual or group would think in tat way. These depictions of abusive acts are more likely to put people off sex. My 14cyear old would be horrified and I imagine many girls and boys in the intended age bracket would feel the same way. They obviously did not consult any teachers, social workers, psychologists, health professionals or parents nor any actual teenagers.

Antibles · 02/10/2019 21:29

Fantastic newuser Star

chip well I've been 'inspired' by this thread to have another quite detailed conversation with my older teens. While I can't stem the tide of peer pressure I have managed to get my two pennyworths in and only got a bit ranty. As they are pretty gender critical I feel there is hope on this issue too. Sometimes all it takes is knowing even one other person feels uncomfortable about something to make all the difference.

7Days · 02/10/2019 21:18

Chip well, I suppose not those exact practises.... but the whole spice up your marriage thing , getting the spark back...

Teens are experiencing this for the first time and they'll learn together. They dont need step by step instructions, do they. It's all good. Step by step.(Usual caveats apply).

It's supposed to be a sexual awakening not a sexual fog horn with blinding lights and thumps.

littlbrowndog · 02/10/2019 20:50

I don’t think all this disgusting stuff is on any teens radar

They want romance and love they hope

This is written by som3 porn addled adults who haven’t a clue on 13 year old girls and what teen girls and boys are looking for

It’s so fucking creepy

ChipOnMyOvary · 02/10/2019 20:36

Antibles I managed to miss the definition of "Rodeo". Must be appalling if it constitutes rape.

7days ...marketed to middle aged couples...

You have got to be kidding me: bu*ake, st play, elching etc?

I did not know some of those words, or the existence of the activities they described. Are you seriously suggesting middle aged couples do these thing? I'd rather get a divorce tbh.

I am so concerned about my 3 teenage daughters and my son, who is 14. How can I possibly speak to him in such a way as to stop him becoming a porn adled adult with erectile disfunction, and in turn protect girls like my daughters? It's a tragedy for this generation.

I agree they are promoting non-vaginal sex as a strange way of preventing pregnancy. Is this what the Dutch do? Does anyone think this has anything to do with TWAW? After all, if men just want anal sex, it's easier to be a pretend woman isn't it. You wouldn't need bottom surgery. And if the man is used to bu**ake he will more easily see the presence of other penises in his sexual activities as being not offputting, but normal.

Antibles · 02/10/2019 20:06

Oh dear mummy. Yes the irony is that a lot of these inventive ways of jizzing on a woman might be reducing the the teenage pregnancy rate. Confused

I couldn't help myself, I went back to that site: 'Rodeo'. Grim.

The site judges it thus: "Sounds really funny when you’re laughing amongst your mates, however in reality how vulnerable do you think the girl in that situation would feel? Not believable that many guys would stoop this low in reality for a cheap laugh."

It's not funny or stooping low though, is it? It's rape. And she wouldn't feel vulnerable, she'd be utterly traumatised. A total fail by the site not to instantly define it as rape and inform young people that it would be a police matter.
